i hate assholes who plan to ride with you but then sleep in instead, leaving you without a ride. i hate assholes who don't tell you you have to work until 20 minutes before your shift on a day you were supposed to go skiing. i hate people.

Well I doubt they scheduled you in 20 minutes before your shift you either didn't look at the schedule when you should have or they called and asked you to cover for someone in which case you can say no.
