ok well im pretty sure i tore my acl today playing baseball and its fucked up my whole summer, i WAS goin to high north in 7 days for camp, i was going to work alot of summer and make money which i cant do now and now im done with baseball, this sux

DUDE! I hate my knee TOO!!! my miniscus is starting to tear, which mean that I cantplay rugby, or ride my bike, or do any intensive labour untill its healed its self or else i need knee surgery... and it really pisses me off, because not playing rugby makes me go crazy.

Hopefully you didnt tear your ACL though, and you just sprained your knee. Either way, see a doctor asap.

I say this about 20 times a day for various reasons. But I hope you didn't tear it, and if you did, I hope you get it all sorted out as fast as possible. Once you get surgery it's not all that long before you can do things again, it's been 3.5 months for me and I'm not allowed to ski and that's pretty much it. Not THAAAAT bad.

at least you really have a serious problem. I hate kids that go around and say "o man, my knee hurts, this is my bad knee, i fell on it the other day" god that makes me mad, they dont know the meaning of this shit. i spent 2/3 of my summer in a full leg cast before, almost tore my acl (thank god i didnt), and there they are complaining because they fell down? wtf. good luck with your recovery tho man, that sucks your gonna miss camp.

The fact their knee hurts is in no way diminised by the fact that you had a whole leg cast. It is really annoying when people tell me that their injuries are or were much worse than mine when i complain about them. Just because they aren't walking around in a body cast doesn't mean that you should at least aknowledge (sp?) their problem.

i am not saying that the full leg cast was bad, its the pain that i had to go through when they straightend it (they had to give me 4 doses of morphine), and i am not putting down anyones injury, its the fake kids that say stuff that pisses me off, they dont get hurt and then they say how bad it hurts blah blah, when if it really happend to them they wouldnt be saying shit, cas it sucks. anyone whos been there knows that its nothing to brag about.

When i played soccer, the next day after I couldn't walk or get up forknees were unbearable (and this was at 12/13).. went to the doctors.. x-rays, the works. they determined it was a condition called osgoode-schlatters. Put me in a cast on one leg for 5 weeks, have never had the pain since. cleats wreck knees though

 
i fucked up my hip two years ago skating and it fucking hurts like a bitch when i move it wrong. it sucks cuz im gonna be one of those old people with plastic hips that bitch about how much it hurts.

yeah well i just got back from the doc and it was already torn since like march and now its just worse so they r gonna check it out after the swelling dies down then get surgery is a couple weeks
