I Hate Dave Mathews

Well as so can see, I Hate Dave Mathews. His music isn't very good and it is all overplayed (one of main reasons for hating radio). People go around and talk about how he is some kind of musical god or something. His music is better than a lot of music out there today but it isn't saying much. Am I the only person on earth that feels that way?

well, i can say that i'm not a very big fan of dave matthews, but i can't say that his music lacks talent.. it's just not my cup of tea.

I hate as well. His voice REALLY pisses me off. The musical portion takes talent, no doubt. But I think it sounds like crap to me tho.

i listen to dave matthews, and not have not once listened to any of those cds you mentioned. im also not anything close to a fratboy.

they only play the shit on radio. Half of daves songs are shit. I listen to him, but only good songs, which are pretty descent. he has a pretty good live act though. I got tickets for a madison square garden show, like, 30 ft from the stage

If you hate DMB then you will really hate John Mayer. He is like his gayer and even less cool little evil twin brother. He even has the same same 'I suck so I have to dance a jig while I play to look more talented' kind of dance.

All of dave mathews band kinda sound the same so you really gotta like that type of music also john mayer is awsome. Exteamly good guitatist he was playing jimmy hendrix and a whole bunch of sweet covers at the concert.

 
If John Mayer is the ass that I'm thinking of, he is nothing more then an Abercrombie wearing tweak-out with his undies on so tight to the point that he sings like a little bitch.

yeah, sure. 'grace is gone', his version of 'all along the watchtower', 'halloween', 'Dont dring the water', 'Rhyme and reason' 'warehouse. I got the tickets for 50. I do admit that i am getting kinda sick of him, but these are some of his best songs that i can think of right now.

$50 for a fucking concert is far from worth it. The best live music is played in small clubs and small venues with small ticket prices.

This $50 and upwards for a concert is complete bullshit and you are just being played by the artist.

I'd never pay more then $25 for a concert.

50 is definatly worth it. His shows are incredible, and my seats are really close, front row in a section right off to the right of the stage

Well the songs you mentioned are not complete crap like the ones I have heard on the radio, but they were not good enough to change my mind. And amen to what Steve said, the best shoes are in small venues, plus they only cost about 10 dollars and they are general admission. I have seen tons of awesome bands for 20 dollars!!!

Man, I hate them too. I tried to liek them so hard, but I just couldnt! I want to like them, but the yjust arent any good man! Unreal talent, but terribl music, I dont get it, he has such talent, they all do, and there are flashes of brilliance, but listening to him just makes me wanna punch myself in the face, it hurts so much.

im not a big fan of dave matthews..some of his life stuff is alright.

but pretty much the only people i know who like dave matthews are girls who think their all hippi because they listen to him.

he is definetly not a breakthru musticaian, and is not original.

theres a natural mystic flowing through the air if you listen carefully now you will hear. its the first trumpet calling. might as well be the last. many more will have to suffer many more will have to die dont ask me why. things are not the way they used to be.

We CAN'T say that DMB isn't a talented band. They are doing good music but it's becoming much more commercial, their older albums were better.

I never said he lacks talent, which he doesn't. Musically he is pretty good, but his music makes me sick. And people like him so much you would think he was on the level of Mozart, which he cleary is not.

my experience w/ john mayer is limited to the tv, cause there is no way on earth i would spend money on it. i really really dont like his voice. he sounds like he is singing from the back of his throat or somthin....all rhaspy. no go.

Dave has talent, and i like his a lot of his music, mostly older stuff. I think that half the people that like it are people that can relate to the songs, and toke the reefer and are alcoholics, like myself. and the other half are the posers that just want to like dave, because it's dave. I will be the first to admit that he is in no way god like, and i would never pay more than 20 bucks for a ticket, (that's what the posers are for)he is a seattle local, and he is doing his own thing. I could do without the horns.

i'm a big dave fan....i'm not your typical listener, i'm not a 'frat boy' who goes to get piss drunk....i am in a fraternity, but i fuckin hate it when people refer to the drunken males as 'frat boys'....what a stereotype.

his music is damn good, and he's one hell of a songwriter. if you dont like him, thats cool.

I hate Dave...and even more...I hate dave fans that think just because someone is talented mean i have to like them...thats bullshit....I respect that band....but i will not ever listen to them on my own free will.....the music just blows
