It would be interesting to know how many kids have been hurt trying to hippy killer.

Now you know how Kalachnikov felt about inventing the AK-47

There's no such thing as graceful fall when you're doing hippy killer. It's all or nothing.

my best friend has broken himself a few times trying hippy killers, but they began to come around later this past season.

I hate shitty boxes but good boxes are fun. When the topsheet is flush with the coping and not warped to shit. It gives another feel to the park. Sometimes it's fun to hit something wide. I think they have there place. Def need a mix but I don't get all the hate

Flat boxes in the other hand I suck at. I feel like some of my worst falls were on flat boxes. I think they're out to get me

opening box line is the illest. Yeah bad boxes SUCK but to not enjoy a well built well set up box? You're missing out.

I classic flat box is always fun. The only boxes I really enjoy are c's and rainbows though. Rainbow rails are still better.

That post just reminded me of how ill that video is.

I agree for the most part, they are nice for learning, but there are too many parks stacked full of boxes. I personally find it easier to do just about any rail trail on a rail as apposed to a box.

That whole line was essentially only two tricks. I didn't really like it. Variety is hard on a box because you have no control. On a box, you're basically just in for ride, while on a rail, you can do anything.

i wish mike-O was still around so the jump thread could have been created all over again.

let's here box's side to the story.

Why not just ski everything instead of worrying about which features make you look cool?

Im not saying that boxes don't make me look cool im saying there just one of my least favorite features in a park.

exactly this.

Don't know about anyone else, although I have found that when you're learning to ski park, boxes are fun to learn the bearings and shit with edge control, sliding etc but then you pick up your game move to rails and tubes and then you go back to boxes and they're harder. I tried doing a switch up on a little flat down box and Thredbo the other day and completely wrecked shit, although I could do them on a DFD tube. Anyone else have this problem?

If you don't like boxes come to Coffee Mill!

We have no boxes!

I mean sure we have like 4 rails but hey NO BOXES!!

I fell trying one then some damn kid came after me and landed on me that jackass

boxes are either super fun or almost uhitable. there is no in between. it all depends on the condition of the box and how well it was set up.
