I want either the ARV's or the Pocket Rockets. ARVs are 123 90 113 and the Rockets are 122 90 115. so they are very similiar that way. I dig the graphics on the ARV but think the Pocket Rocket is a little

Now the dilemma. Im pretty short on cash. either way ill need bindings to go with the skis too so im sticking with my 912 ti's so they dont matter. My best friends dad can get me the rockets for 65% off, so they come out to like $245. And ill have to pay alot more for the ARV. dammit dammit dammit, im so frusturated. i want a fatter ski for this season, i just need cash... any help?

wheres what you do...you don't buy the Pocket Rockets if you don't want them because no matter how awsome they are you'll always be longing for that other ski you wanted more.

Dude I was dead broke two weeks ago, and then dude with a little pilling of money I got $700 like that...its all about the painting peoples houses or go find an agency that needs temp work or just work for the day.

 
i know this isnt at all helpful, but...

1) you are not poor if u are looking at purchasin skis, period

2) who cares about graphics

but anyway...as long as you are spending hundreds of bucks, go for the ones you really want. you'll regret it if u dont.

yeah thanks but its 245 for the rockets and owe my parents nill. or 600 and owe them alot. so that sucks

ooh thats a huge difference. go with the rockets, you'll like them. 75 percent of liking skis is mental. and with the rockets u'll have a lot more money to buy a pass or tickets or w/e.

and if u hate th graphics, just paint/stencil them or sticker them up

I have an idea. There are these weird people out in the world who will give you money--they are called employers. Ask one of these people for a thing called a JOB. If you're not a retarded monkey and have half a brain, chances are they may let you WORK for them. Get the drift?

Oh yeah and get the PR's. I got em. They rule

Just go with the PR's and if you dont like the graphics spray and stencil over them. But think about it with 60% off you can always sell them on second hand if you want the other skis, and probably even make a profit, so you may as well

if your parents are funting you the money...thats a different story. You need to go buy those Armadas. Then you'll pay your parents whatever you do have right now. Then start saving and tell them you are and then in like a couple months they'll have forgotten even loaning you the money, and you comeout with a sick pair of skis that arn't salomon.

 
yeah i had to quit my job cause my boss is a douche, im a lifeguard at the y in my town and he sucks so i showed him and i quit!

You think your poor check this shit out. I used to live in VT and i would be able to ski a whole lot now i live in VA my parents got now money i work from 7am-3pm on a farm for 6 bucks everweekend i wont be able to afford skiing at all this year which blows so fuckin much all i got is my freeskier magazine. maybe next winter i can get one trip out west and then when i turn 18 i'm moving out thier and hoping to get a big break like sage or else i well be a screw up with no money.

Sound like a good plan to anyone?

I think i might be old to make it in skiing when i'm 18 but its all i got i blow at school but when i get a change i rip the mountain up

i go to battle field high school and it sucks!!!

^^yeah BANGOR im bitching because it only takes like $60 to make a fucking ski. and the markup in the industry is just rediculous. sure they need to make their money but at 400% markup... thats not cool

^think of it this way.... if the company didn't put mark up in the ski, they wouldn't be able to afford fancy things like research teams, so all of our skis would be horrible pieces of crap. I pay for the future of skiing.
