there is still snow on the ground so we practice in the parking lot. hard ground not good for 50 sarasotas

it's lacrosse. and preseason is the worst, i had to run 2 miles in under 14 minutes on saturday, i did it in 14:01 so i had to do it again today... and then practice

lacrosse.... and yea first 2 weeks are bad but thank god our team budget kicked in and we got to practice 3 weeks at this brand new indoor facility soo nice... soft ass turf yes i am claiming...

ah i c, ya preseason for a lot of sports for me is like that, i get mad shin splints and i have osgoods and severers disease in my ac tendon (don't know how to spell alot of things so ill just leave it at that)

sucks for the parking lot. we just got sick new turf and its sick except for the rubber pellets that get in your shoes... beats shin splints i guess

yeah preseason for XC we're supposed to run 60-70 miles a week. running on pavement is one of the worst things you can do. Preseason for track isn't as bad for me though because Im not as in such bad shape as most of the other guys b/c of indoor

dude that kind of turf is the best kind. Yeah those pellet things get annoying, but you definitely don't want that astro-turf carpet shit. When I played lax in high school, we played at a tournament at a school that had astro-turf/carpet, and the EMT staff went absolutely crazy with all of the Knee and Ankle injuries. I'll bet 10 different players were taken to the hospital with lower leg injuries.

yea i no i love our field turf. the only good things about astroturf are how you can absolutly fly and burn people on it and how u can rip bounce shots. but how fast u can get injured isnt worth it IMO

My last lacrosse game (friday) we almost got in a team brawl... Too bad our fucking coach broke it up.

it hit 120 during summer practice for football on our outdoor field. talk about something sucking.

my school (Worthington Kilbourne, OH) is like top 10 in the nation and #1 in the Midwest plus we have i think 4 all americans and one guy is supposed to win player of the year....but their still all bros

ohhh yeah, lax camp in the summers its been 105 and shit, to the point where we couldnt even play outside for noontime sessions.

Our lax team at my old high school used to practice in the parking lot every day and use shitty pvc goals. But over the last like 10 years the team got better and so did the budget and by the time I got to high school we got to practice on turf in the spring until the grass was ready. We were in the final 8 teams in state for the first MN state tournament playoffs last year when I was a senior and now this year apparently they get like team bags and gloves and shit. So I guess the moral of the story is: as your high school's lacrosse program gets better, so should your budget. I apologize if that came off as a huge claim... shit i guess it kinda was.
