So I went to chile last Febuary and lived for 5 months and started drinking pretty heavily (i drank a lot before but not to that calibre) Now that i am back at school(Senior yr at college) I am fucking going to clubs and bars and getting smashed every damn night. it was kind of cool at first but the fact that I am drunk everynight for like the last 4 months is starting to get on my nerves. It takes so much to get drunk now. oh well

 
by the look of your post you aren't that drunk (at the moment). you might be an alcoholic......but try to focus on other things that you enjoy, or drink less heavily at home - it'll save you money

i was drinking everyday and i thought i was turning into a alcoholic then i moved off to college and have started drinking less. its pretty wierd

^ exactamundo, the first step sometimes is the hardest. I find smoking pot really cuts down on the alcohol cunsumption.

a friend of mine sets his alarm for 4am so he can get smashed before school and then drinks later in the night too.

i feel bad for him but i dont know if i should try and talk to him about it

i find that im into vicodin and weed alot...i mean im high on something everyday.....sometimes before school and sometimes after...sometimes both...i dont know maybe that is a problem that i should fix..but it makes me feel a hell of alot better afterwards...btw right now im not high .....later

and how does one now that it gets in the way of things man? I am really curious to see that, because when ure in that situation ure mind isnt really workin properly. You start losin perspective on whats right and wrong, because in essence u are a different person.

Right and Wrong are relative. Your personality is relative. I was refering to getting in the way of the things you used to do, insted of enhansing them.
