yeah i basically probablly fucked up my life, this year, my junior year of highschool i fucked off all year and am failing alot of classes and have to go to summer school. now i'm fucked because no college is going to want me and i'm going to be working as a bag boy for the rest of my life..anyone else in my situation?

If you don't get into college once you graduate then go to a community college or something. When you're there don't fuck off as much and if you apply to a school again with decent grades you should be fine.

sweet dude, ill probably see u at CMC. Ive had a 3.0 through most of high school but my last two report cards have been like a 2.3 and a 1.9. It really sucks. And my bro is going to CMC right now so its looking pretty good. The only thing is that i dont totally like steamboat(the hill, the towns ccol).

im in the exact same situation bro. all i did this year was ski. im failing math, physics, and almost failing civ. but i have an A in spanish, video, and english so they bring my gpa to like a 2.75 or something. but im basically fucked too.

you guys need to manage your time...i still ski everyweekend...go to xc ski practice...and juggle 3 ap classes... all with a 3.8 gpa..junior in highschool

 
same story here, excpet I worked hard in HS, and am slacking off in college, I really try had not to but Ive gotten into a bad habit of it.

its not so much a time management issue as just a lack of motivation. I have no interest in what they're trying to teach me right now and plus i have no idea what i want to do in life or where i even want to go to college or what i want to do when i get there. If I had my heart set on something and i knew what i needed to do to get there id be getting like straight A's for sure. I mean im a really smart kid but i just dont care.

your life isn't fucked. It's not really a big deal to take an extra year of highschool.

I'm in my fifth year and I don't even need to be. I graduated last year, but I'm taking an extra year simply because I didn't know what I wan'ted to do, and I wanted to pick up some extra credits to keep my options open. plus boosting the average is always a bonus... Anyway, especially in grade 11, I wouldn't worry too much. You can make it up; you've got all the time in the world.

i have like a 2.3 . last simester i got a 3.6 and this simester i got like a 2.9 or somthing like that. I already got accepted to Ft. Lewis and Western State. I may transfer to cu or csu after two years, i may not. it is very tempting to jsut go to the community collage here though because most of my firend will either take a year off, go to the community collage, or go to csu so i really dont know.

i just quit school, after 2 years of hotel/resturant management.

i started working at a sub shop 2 semesters ago in west lafayette, and another kid started the day before me. hes now a manager there because he asked and happened to be in the right spot when some one left....so i said hell, im wasting my time, so im packin up from good ol indiana, and im goin to northern cali, or tahoe, CO, maybe. got some friends there...well see. :)

just get better grades next year. collages dont just look at grades they also look at the person. so do some community work and extracarricular stuff and ull be fine.

dude, i might be!!! Not really, but I am from indiana originally. i moved when i was two but all my family lives there, in North Vernon(if u know where thats at). My nana & papa live in Scipio which if u know that town, is literally like the smallest town ever.

How about instead of a University, where lots end up taking a butt fuck nothing arts or poli sci degree that gets you a job at Walmart, but with a 40 grand loan to pay off, you look at going into a trade. There is nothing wrong with trades, and because of that "must go to university" mentality, they all get paid rather well, because no one seems to want to do it these days.

Of course I am generalizing about the arts and poli sci degree, but you get the point. People have to quit self-elavating themselves by going into universities and colleges and thinking now they will be all hot shit. Yes, I go to University but I wouldn't be ashamed if I was a Carpenter or a Plumber. Besides, I got the ass to pull it off.

Marks don't matter until grade 11 and 12.

More so grade 11.

You can slack off for the first 3 years of high school, and the last year, and still get into a great college/university.
