Wow, so much hate on that forum. I laughed at the "no steeze" comment though. Unless you're doing like a daffy or screaming seaman, being calm and laid back is definitely cooler than flailing all over the place.

thats soooo funny. they hate because they are watching as skiing and twin tips are selling more both in shops and is gaining popularity in the main stream. Theyre just pissed cause they cant ski and are gonna get left behind. honestly I dont care if u snowboard or ski I just think its funnt they hate so much

lol thats sad, and im sure that those snowboarders have all gaper style, but because they are snowboading they consider themselves so extreme. the dance dance revolution was the best part.
 
I can see why some people hate us. The people at my mountain never argue about this crap, i snowboard and i know a lot of skiers and boarders and no one ever says that the other type is bad. Those people are the ones who sit and throw snowballs at eachother and follow you down your run and don't hit anything. Video was sick by the way.
 
They made some realy good points. I completly agree with the following quotes:

Skiing is too much about spin to win. In my opinion people should have some of the super tech tricks, but put more of an emphasis on the slower more stylie tricks.

And if anybody values my opinion I dont think that snowboarder pic is THAT bad, I mean its bad, but I know a shitload of skiers that cant keep their arms down on a disaster.
 
Snowboarders on that site probally arent real snowboarders. Think about it, its on burtons website. Burton as in the snowboard conglomerate. So most of those kids talking shit are probally the stupid snowboarders that suck at our mountains. Think about the good boarders at your mountain, most are nice, and dont talk shit, and respect your skiing. So there opinions on that website mean shit to me.
 
I dont think it is. I think its perfectly ethical. First, he took a shot at somebody else, a boarder, yeah, a NSer, no, but a person. If he said he had no steeze, hes leaving himself open to shit like that. I honestly believe you cant talk shit about somebody unless you can do a lot better. He put the pics on NS for all to see, so anybody can right click, copy image location. I just want to let NS decide if hes got the right to give the kid shit, I'm making no effort to decide cause that rail would rob me of my ability to have kids.
 
i am gona totally agree with you there. all the good snowboarders at my mountain are very chill layed back and arent little pricks. all the ones that suck yell at you from the chair lift and shit, then you see them in the park sitting on their ass or falling every 2 seconds.
 
On the "ditching" of the poles one kid said "Yeah, what's he gonna swing around his head at the end of the run?"
