I found a skateboard in the river next to my house(pics)

It looks like its been in there for a few years. I only decided to snag some pics after i had already taken the wheels off, popped out the bearings, and cleaned up the wheels a bit.

It has purple griptape, destructo trucks, unidentifiable wheels, and i think the bearings were red bones. pretty neat find and a free set of wheels haha I might even try to salvage the trucks, obviously gonna cop some new hardware and de-rust them. I feel like a god damned archaeologist.

River magic was actually one of the main reasons I was drawn to kayaking. Paddle out in a flood stage sometime and you'll be blown away by all the shit you find. I once found a solid piece of wood carved into a stool that is the shape of an elephant /claim. Batten down the hatches in a storm or some lucky boater like me is gonna end up with your yard dressings

skated the wheels today just for shits and they are bomb haha scooooooore

and to the guy who wanted the bearings, the shields are rusted through in spots so theyll be like super light and shit, 30 bucks cause theyre gonna be even faster than when they were new. ill even throw in a stick of butter to lube em up with
