and now I dont enjoy my pizza experiance because I feel like a dick

 
we only have one pizza guy in my town, his name is crazy Kenny, and if you don't tip him, he'll start throwing rocks at your house

but if you really want to take it to an extreme you can call the pizza place and find out who delivered to your address and take the tip to them.. but I bet is more work than you're willing to go through.

Just eat your pizza and do some cutting, the bleeding will make you feel better.
 
I fucking hate tipping the delivery guy. He's doing his job. I wish I could get extra money for doing what I'm already being paid to do.

Unless pizza guys, like waiters, are paid less than minimum wage because of the tips.

we dont tip here...sometimes if its like $18 or whatever i give the guy a $20 and cant be bothered getting change, but they dont expect it by any means.

i think the only time i didnt tip the pizza guy was when my sister was workin for the place and she delivered it, she took a piece though....that bitch haha
 
Well it's such a shitty job that you should allways tip them atleast $5. serously it probably costs almost as much to maintain a car as they get from the job. expecialy w/ gas being what it is right now.
 
They get paid less usually. And at some places have to pay for gas as well as put mileage on their car.
 
I have a friend who delivered pizzas for a while, for a ritzy fancy Italian place. They only pay him his wages, nothing extra for gas, they expected the tips to be able to cover it(then throw in the wear and tear on the vehicle hes not being compensated for). So don't assume everyone of those guys is getting extra money for doing something they are all ready paid to do. Its not entirely true.
 
One time we ordered a pizza at like 2 in the morning. The only place open was Mr. Pizzaman. Worst idea ever...The pizza was two hours late. We kept calling the pizza place, and they kept telling us that the pizza should be delivered already. When the pizza man finally rang the doorbell, it looked like he just woke up from a nap. The pizza cost 18 something, and we gave him exact change. He deserved no tip.

i always make sure to tip just to make sure i enahance the pizza experience and dont feel lame. go out of your way to find the guy and give him a tip (call the company and see who delivered it and say have him come again). i usually just give him the change of what the pizza is, like 2-3 dollars.

QUESTION: has there ever been a girl delivery guy?
 
ive never gotten a pizza delivered but at restaurants i tip rediculous amounts...sometimes almost 40%....because being a waiter sucks. huge balls.
 
i was with a group of 4 people, we werent very fussy and didnt need much and at the end of the meal we each put in 6$ for the tip and when i walked out i realised we gave a 24$ tip...like it only came to about 50$ so i thought that was a hella big tip
 
I love tip pools because working on the line you don't get the luxury of tips usually. But then again we give out to servers so much, it's all fun.

yeah, my cousin lives in australia, and when i went down to visit him he told me you dont tip in restaurants or anything, and sometimes if you do the australians get pissed cuz they feel like it makes them look cheap or something. i dunno if thats true or not, just what i was told.
 
yeh, its really strange if people tip. sometimes restaurants have a jar next to the register and people put spare change in there as tips, but yeh...its certainly not built into the bill like some places overseas.

dont think people complain though if they get tips.
 
Tip the fucking pizza guy. If you forget, great, but if you just decide not to then fuck you. Unless the pizza is late, you owe the pizza guy a couple of bucks. He counts on that as part of what he makes and you really do owe it to him because, believe it or not, the fucking pizza company isn't really paying him any more than the people who stand around making pizzas and aren't putting miles on their own cars.

You have a problem with that, take it up with the system. Don't be a jackass to the pizza guy just because you're too fucking cheap to pay him what he deserves for getting your pizza out to you in a timely and pleasant manner.

no, all he will do is not give a fuck about getting your pizza to you on time next time you order.

At least, that's how I worked when I delivered pizzas. :D
 
I was with a few friends and we barely had enough money to pay for the pizza, so we searched the house to find money on the floor, we eneded up tipping the pizza guy 32cents
 
i had a buddy who worked for dominos as a delivery guy and he made close to $7/hr plus i think a buck or 2 per delivery(to cover gas and wear and tear), plus tips. not a horrible deal i guess but yeah delivery guys usually make a lower wage because the tips are expected.
 
why are you expected to tip for everything in America? In England you only tip if the service is quick. We always demand discount from the pizza places 'cos they are always late.
 
yeah my brother worked at domino's while he was a student in college. u don't realize that the delivery person has to use their car, pay for their own gas, and get paid something like 4 dollars an hour. tips is a big part of the business. not to mention my brother totaled his car while working for the pizza place and they didn't help pay for shit. believe me, tips are necessarily.
 
one time i tipped the pizza guy like 15 or 20 bucks, just because he was pretty fast and i was too lazy to figure out how much i should give him, so i just gave him all the change

he went to my school and i had no idea and for the rest of the year he always smiled and said hi to me and he was wicked nice, when i guess he's a jerk to everyone else

when me and some buddies were in colorado we tipped our pizza guy about 50 cents or some small amount like that and when we realized it we called up the pizza joint and asked for the name of the delivery guy. we got pizza from there again and told him sorry and gave him a big tip the next time. he said it happens alot.

 
one time i gave tha pizza guy a 20 and he was like "want the change?'' and i waas like " ya" and he gave me like pennies and i was like " no the remainder of the money... duh... and he flipped me off and drove away. good pizza though.
 
i order erberts and gerberts in the summer alot and they say its gonna be like 30 min but it ends up to be like an hour and half so i tell the guy if he wants a tip next time get it here on time im and asshole
 
the last time me and my freind ordered pizza we tipped him with a bouqette of flowers that we picked out of his garden because we didnt have any more money.
 
I phoined pizza hut once, and asked for 2 lg pizzas. She asked how i was paying and i said cash. She said sorry thats down right now ? Thought about that and then i was about to say somthing back and shes like sorry good bye.

So in conclusion pizza hut hung up on me.
