that there are 3 half black kids in my school, and ALL of them have white mothers who are divorced from the original father. hahahaha. what the fuck why can't interracial couples stayed married? I think it is because God doesn't think too highly of it. and if it's not God, what is it??

 
I think it's funny how people with one black parent and one white look at themselves as black.

not racist or anything, i just think it's weird...
 
i'm half-black...but my mom's the black one, maybe that's why my parents are such a happily married couple?
 
my god i know. the 2 black guys in my school are total faggots. both on the football team, one of them is leading the division in TD's and Yards rushed so he obviously thinks hes hot shit. they both yammer on about black pride and all this gay shit and i can't stand it. it has slowed down recently, but in months past they were just rediculous people. and i hate it how they are all stupid as hell. all these black kids are stupid as fuck i can't stand it, all in the lowest level classes they can be. absolutely clueless, i have no idea how they will make it in the world without assistance from the state.

One of my really good friends is half black. Hes cool as shit and incredibly intelligent. His mom is white and his dad is black and both of them are Doctors. He's taking alot of the same premed classes as me.

Sorta blows your stereotype away huh?
 
my stepdad is black.... My mom and him have been married for 15 years. Which is 5 years longer than my mom and my dad were married.

Also, people who are half black typically identify as being black because they usually dont have fair enough skin to get mistaken as white. But even the slightest tint can get you labeled black. Mariah Carey is usually thought of as White, but she is 1/4 black 1/4 venezuelan.

I have a lot of half mexican friends some of them look mexican, some of them dont. Some of them call themselves white and you would never know they were half mexican. But there are a few that totally look mexican, and because of it, you ask what they are and they say mexican.

So yeah, half black people call themselves black.
 
I don't know if that was directed to me or the thread creator, but still... I'm not stereotyping anyone, off course i know not every single mulatto (yes, that does sounds like something starbucks would make) call themselves black. I have several friends who have black and white parents, and some of them actually say they're half black half white if you ask them.

i understand that it's easier to just say they're black, but i'm not talking about the situations where you actually ask what skin color someone has. I'm talking about the situations the thread creator described, where people pull in stuff about black pride and stuff. I've had the phrase "Is it just because i'm black?" thrown in my face a few times by people i know have a white parent, and that's the stuff that pisses me off.
 
Or kids that are like 1/4th asian that all have screen names like blazinazn or superazn and are all asian pride. Im 1/4th russian (which is asian) So i asked them if I could join the club and they all were like "No you dont have skwinty eyes or anything you cant be asian!"

Ok, well what does everyone else look at them as? BLACK, no one is going to say they're half or there white, they're going to call them black! People are still going to be racist to them, they're going to be treated like any other black person, so of course they're going to look at themselves as black.
