I finally landed a backflip.

I've been trying them since last season. Never actually landed without under or over rotating. Way fucking hyped y'all!!

my friend tried 4 consecutively and landed on his head each time. Blacked out in the car home and now has learning struggles. I'm not going to do that any time soon.
 
Congrats! This will be a special day that you will always remember.

Also, that was an incredibly sketchy jump to attempt a backflip on.

And u didn't try stopping him after mabey like the second time he landed on his head?

Good for you dude! That was a pretty small jump to do it off of so that's pretty impressive, I can't even backflip off a jump that small

I wasn't there because of school but my friends were there and they thought it was funny so they encouraged it. If I was there I would have stopped him pretty fast though.

Update again. Backflips have become possibly my favorite trick. Getting a little cleaner slowly but surely.
 
Hell yeah man! Nice and clean. Once you get the feel for a nice layout you can do them bigger without overrotating. Looked like you're moving in the right direction from that first video to the last.

Keep sending them! One of the most fun tricks out there. It just doesn't get old.

Heck yea! Best part about them is once you can do them you can pretty much send em anywhere without evening thinking about it
 
Fuck Yeah! They look way better now, you can tell where you are in the air which is pretty crucial to doing them off big jumps. If your trying them off bigger jumps, then make sure to not huck the rotation, pop, then spin. You'll be able to control your spin a lot more.
