well my parents were kind enough to get my an iphone for christmas, but i cant figure something out on it. it asks me for a username and password when i try to buy apps from the apps store, but it never had me set up a username and password, and i cant find a configuration screen or anything. my moms the one who bought it so she doesnt know if she set up a password or not and i cant figure this out. can anyone who has an iphone help me out please?

top right corner, hit sign in, then there should be an option to create an account

theres no sign in button, or if there is, i dont see it. its the 3g if that matters.

if im correct i think you need an itunes account, which you can just sign up for over the net, as soon as you hav that u should be able to buy apps and videos...but thats how it works on the normal ipods anyway. hope this helps.

Oooohhh... I assumed you were on iTunes. Get on iTunes, hit up the store, and then sign up for an account.
