In fact, I dont even have a tumblr. So stop telling me to follow you. At least make a way for me to just close the window without having to click on the link to follow you on tumblr every time to close it.
 
No... because there isnt an x there. Although when I do click there randomly it does close it. Regardless, it solves nothing. it shouldnt open every time a load a new page. fix it dammit.
 
There's an x there when the page starts to load. I click it, nothing happens then it turns into the "Follow on tumblr".

I get it, you want more likes and followers on everything but sweet jesus, this is a terrible idea. If you really think it's needed put it on the homepage so people have an easy route to your accounts on those sites if they're incapable of finding them. Having that bar follow me around the website is annoying as hell.

 
You might have to make your browser bigger, I didn't notice it at all till someone told me about it and I expanded the horizontal size of my browser and there it is.
 
Uh oh... this sounds like a bug.

Can you post a quick screen grab? Yes, we want to really blast you in the face about getting followers... but we also want you to click once and banish it forever if that is what you want.

I'll alert the team, probably small bug.

Even if you click the X while it's still up nothing happens. I tried to click all the links to see if that would help but nothing.

Whats the resolution of your screen?

The X is under the tumbler button you just need to make your browser wider, I tested this on a 1080p screen and it didnt disappear til my browser only took up about 50% of my screen.

I'm using firefox on windows. No idea what the screen resolution is. Probably not anything too high. Pretty old compy here.
 
We got it, it was screen resolution. Small bug, check now and you should be able to permaban that bitch.
 
Woah mine must have been really screwed up. The only thing it was showing was the yellow arrow on the left that said follow us and then a link to the tumblr page. Nothing else.

The X is there but wont respond to my clicks. I get the checkbox but cannot get rid of the bar.
 
We pushed out some updates that should have fixed most of the bugs. Give it a cache clear and a refresh.

If it isn't working can you give me a browser/OS/Version/Screen rez shoutout?
 
I clicked the I never want to see this bar again yesterday and today it's back.

Is it some sort of cookie that tells the bar never to come back? Is that why it's back. I don't know jack shit about programming BTW.

I'm running Firefox 24.0 on a Mac and have my settings to delete/clear everything when I quit the program.
