good for them kid, but you really need to get out more and start understanding that your friends aren't the only kids throwing switch 12's and dubs and Vail is not the best ski resort. It sucks they didnt cover it but theres a lot of events NS doesnt cover, get over it.

I averaged all the scores for the judges and I can assure you that they didn't even know what ski club vail is.
 
seems like Ski club is doing something right because between Dew tour and gatorade I've seen a lot of wins and good finishes.
 
This. Kind of curious why all the hate on Ski Club. I coach for Vail Devo, so I'm like a second class citizen, but I still respect these guys for how good they are. We were back in Outer Mongolia building a booter on the day of the comp but did see the warm ups and the stuff that was being thrown was ill. Stoked it got some coverage and like Patty said; stoked that Vail is finally putting some decent comps on again. Ski Club has a landing pad now which is really stepping up the progression for their kids.

Problem for my program is that Vail Resorts is going uber conservative. Helmets are now mandatory for anyone skiing in any VR program; any kid in a VR program under the age of 13 has to ride the lift with an adult; if someone bumps into you in the lift line, you pretty much have to fill out an incident report. Sorry for the rant. Props to Tanner and Patty.
 
Ski club Vail doesn't know a fucking thing about normal people out riding, and take the liberty to hate on them.
Ski Club Vail is fucking infamous, most people know what's up with that shit.

Ski Club Vail is a bunch of rich ass kids who hate on anyone who isn't one of them. It's this group mentality/mobocracy that ruins the park vibe.
 
Just because someone else did not write an article about an event doesnt mean you dont have to write your own. Just submit it to an admin and they would be happy to post it up!
