The thing I hate about those I I ride for jesus and ting is that most of them doesn't accept if you're diffferent than them and are pretty closed mined about your beliefs. I mean I'm a christian and I never go to church. I don't pray, I party do a lot of those hell bad thing that the church tell is bad.But I still think I'm a good guy about the spirituality, I think that every1 should live his own spirituality and not tell the others about how they are good and everything just let the people do there thing that's all. so I basicaly hate those stickers cause I think it's just a form of disrespect.
 
^jordan...i straight up take my youth group skiing and they're crazy! my church has nothing against having fun. there are actually some sick skiers and riders in it.
 
How can you guys say stuff like that, get your own strength and confidence and then you can congratulate yourself on your own accomplishments instead of thanking your boy jesus all the time.
 
I think we change the subject to the stickers, cause relgions ia a personal thing. So what do u want to accomplish with these stickers? U want to show it to the rets of the world look at me I'm just a good kid that loves God. I'm a christian but I dont feel the need to show it to the rest of the world to say how good I am. If u do it with the reason of being proud and stuff. But i think a lot of people do it more to be cool and thats totaly not what wants u to do.

(I think it really cool to talk about religion on a skiing forum haha)
 
this wouldn't annoy me, except all these kids are doing this religious thing because its trendy. If people thought it was lame, then the kids who are doing now probably wouldn't wear jesus stickers on their helmets and skis, they'd be afraid of getting made fun of.

As for the Riding for Jesus or Christ stickers: my question to you is, why would that bother you? If I saw you rocking an "I ride for Satan" sticker it wouldn't make me mad or anything, just love you even more. Kids rock those Jesus stickers because they are saying that Jesus is Lord over all facets of their life. I praise Him every day I get to ski because it is so fun and I could have been born a parapalegic or mentally disabled.

It isn't about being religious, it is about loving life and the God who created us to be glorious in His image and play in the creation that he made. Religious people are concerned more with appearance and tradition; myself, and probably others who rock those stickers, are in love with God, not religion. It is funny that people would rather have someone make fun of them for falling off a rail than pray for them. And what is funny too, is that if you believe in Satan, you believe in God.

Here is what I would like answered: to Hoodratz, or others who are strongly opposed to organized religion, or specifically Christianity, why are you offended or passionately against religion? Choosing not to believe in God is still choosing a belief, is it not? Someone satisfy my curiosity.
 
believing in God is your choice, doing it because its trendy is stupid. I personally go to church because its my choice.

why do people ski for jesus...like wtf ski for fun and for urself...yeah maybe pray to him that u dont get hurt but it doesnt make sense to ski for a belif...i dont belive in anything but still why not ski to hang out with friends...does religon really have to do with skiing and having fun?

the reason anyone sucks at skiing is because they listen to iron madden. Tanner is good because he doesnt listen to stupid stuff like iron maiden
 
well i'm saying you ski for yourself but there is nothing wrong with like giving the sign of the cross before hitting a huge jump but people would be afraid of looking stupid. but there is nothing wrong with a little prayer
 
i belive in god.. .i dont think that god is gonna take his time out of his busy scheduale to pick up a kid out of the pipe a few more feet
 
my skis dont say who i ride for or whether or not im an honor student or who my great uncle voted for in the election of 1966, but i dont see why you people cant let stickers be stickers. i guess if your making satan stickers because your down with him thats cool, but if your doing it for the sole purpose to make fun of ppl who are religous then its just a waste of money and time that could be spent strapped to two fiberglass boards riding down a hill

I'd like to know who of you guys have these stickers? I dont think much though... But I've nothing against these stickers only if it becomes trendy and disrespectfull and thats what I think has already happened. So if u want to be trendy be original and design other stickers other choosing than religion cause thats so easy to. Although if u believe in God why would u show it to the rest of the world. He wont loves u more cause u have these stickers. God is in the inside doesnt matter if u wear this black metal shit or these tiny grandpha spencers. U're also not skiing with a bible right?
 
I can't believe it! Someone had a sticker on something, and you didn't like it......well it sure isn't your skis so get over it.

It's only a sticker, if this is such a big deal to you I don't know how you can make it through life, I know plenty of other countries you can move to so that you don't have to live each and everyday in total anxiety of seeing another piece of adhesive paper on a pair of skis that represents something you don't agree with.

I personally think it's silly (putting stickers with crosses on your boards and saying you ride for Christ) so what I'm considering is ordering a cross sticker and just slap it on my helmet upside down.

I don't wanna show affection to any type of religious or fictive being... But I don't wanna piss of people who do, either. So yeah I probably wouldn't actually do that, but I can imagine someone hardcore like Rory Silva doing it.
