I don't like stanced cars, but i like semi pro racing

my favorite thing about evos are the owners- other cars care about looks, ride quality, hp numbers, etc.
Evo owners don't care how their car looks, how shitty it sounds, how bad it rides, as long as they can figure out a way to go faster break harder and handle more precise they are happy
Which I kinda miss, but Im happy with rwd for now and sliding,
And one day I will own another s4- avant with tial 770s- ultimate sleeper -because I loved my s4- just an absolute nightmare to work on

Yeah I hate when people buy body kits but then don't put anything under the hood. Most of the time the cars will handle better and be quicker with the exterior being stock, I think, due to the fact that they are more aerodynamically sound. Then again there's some examples of where it could be worse. who knows.

If I owned a 350Z i'd definitely ship some parts from PowerHouse Amuse. There parts for the Z33 and Z34's are super nice.

If you and your car have really seen all these track days you should EVER be ragging on honda let alone my car! If you see those track days there are FULL of built hondas. You will see alot of rsx out there too because there come stock with k20s which is what the honda scenes all about as of now.....

10.8 at 133 sounds good i give you that! Freaking fast. There are all motor k series hondas running low 9s.......where the respect? If built right hondas/rsx are great road course cars.

I just got back from gingerman raceway track day, 80% of the cars were hondas being beat on!:) 2 evos and obviously a few others. The 500 horsepower evo was getting rolled on by allll the profunction hondas. But i will admit one of the fastest cars of the day was a white evo on orange wheels.....JUST SAYING

good lord man, you seriously never learn. wiki has proven several times over that he both knows his shit, and owns incredibly nice and built stuff as well. i don't care how you slice it FWD will NEVER be as good as rear or all wheel.

i get it, you love your car and love tuning it and having fun going to the track and modding and stuff, that is awesome, keep doing it! but i hate to say, but that car will not be able to hold up to several others that wiki has mentioned in this thread. hell, i drive a 1.8t audi a4 avant that has a chip and that is it. i know other people esp. tronned hate those cars for all they are worth, but i just don't care. i need 4 wheel drive and need a wagon, so that gives me pretty much two options. audi or subaru. i like having the nicer interior and styling of the audi, so i am willing to give up the reliability, etc. to own it. just because people hate on your car or whatever doesn't mean that it is an awful car or that you are a moron for buying it. you like what you like so keep on pushin it, but you must be delusional if you think that FWD is even remotely good for racing

literally the only person who makes sense in this thread is wiki. The rest of you folks are armchair racers besides that kid with shin in his name, where as he actually races but seems to not know much about cars. I love Hondas, but to say a rsx for 8k is the best all around track car is absurd, as much as it pains me to say. Miata/AE86/mr2/rx7 or pretty much any moderate powered low weight/balanced chasis would smoke the shit out of a rsx around a track for a fraction of the cost.

My boner for Honda is only for their motors and Type R's. Type R's are borderline race car tech that has made its way into the street, they may not be 400 hp but they can be stripped and install all the safety req's of a race series circuit and perform very well while being underpowered. Honda of the previous 10 years was a company that cared deeply for racing and track cars, but ever since the new nsx has been canceled and they have gone away from the k20 motor it appears their MO has changed. To anyone judging a Type R, i challenge you to take a stock ITR out for a good flogging and come back and say you didnt just have the time of your life, the motor is borderline godlike with how much it begs to be revved and abused. Think of how many Type R models (CTR,Accord,NSX,ITR,etc) have been made for the true petrol heads of the world through the years of honda and you will realize that Honda didnt care about flashy shit with their cars, they just want underweight fun cars to drive. All the type R motors were fucking HAND MADE, PERFECT CAST and had 5 valve cuts... that is rare as fuck in low cost production cars. I work for a high end german company that prides its self on tech and R&D in racing yet i still fancy honda motors due to how fucking raw they are, they are like mini f1 engines in my mind.

If this kid loves his rsx, let him. You dont have to call it a rice burner because youre an ignorant snot nosed little punk who most likely drives a car that your mommy and daddy bought you or paid half for. There is no fucking way a 16 year old kid can say "i paid for my STi myself" because you didnt, you dont pay for food or bills or live in the real world... if you did you would be driving a 91 escort... mommy and daddy take care of you so you can spend your money like an asshole. This RSX owner isnt your typical EF civic owner who slaps a "honda" banner across his windscreen and has a fiberglass bumper that is cracked to shit... he buys high end parts slowly and surely then installs them, not everyone is made of money.

Let people like what they want, and shut your mouth if dont have anything nice to say. Simple, no?

You know what your talking my friend so does the evo guy. He just pissed me off when he says stuff about stomping hondas to the ground when it come to tracking of any sort.

Ha but no im not all bonar happy crazy for hondas, although thats the scene, or whatever, that im into. But I am into and have respect for ANY car built for tracking/functional driving etc.

Im not trying to sound like im stuck up about my car because i am not. It may sound like it when im defending my car from kids that are saying ricer and "typical honda" because its far from typical. And from kids making fun of a FWD tracking.......

RE Amemiya built the most amazing rx7 ever known to man

i agree! The rear end looks kinda odd though.......

That rx7 was front cover of a super street magazine a year ago!

If i werent building a honda i would be building an rx7 gen 3 without a dought!

Yeah i'm not too big on the tails on it. I really liked the veilside body kit that was in Tokyo Drift. Although i'd want a different wing than the veilside though. Probably one similar to that of which Amuse uses. Such awesome wings on there cars. I think RE Amemiya definitely does the best when it comes to tuning rotary engines though.
