I tend to find that the people who choose to do these stupid things to their cars tend to be some of the most smug, one minded people. Its like talking to a wall. That acura is straight up riced out regardless of what anyone says. Yea ok you got some suspension and tires and wheels who gives a fuck. Fucking tools stance cars. You want a track car? Maybe stop wasitng your money on stupid little upgrades for a piece of shit car and go out and by something respectable. Cars are one of those things that more money= way better cars. That is why i laugh at tools who do fucking idiotic shit to their cars

That acura isn't "stanced"... theres nothing stupid about spending money on suspension and tires... it makes NO sense to buy an expensive stock car when you can build a faster car for significantly less and have the pride of building it yourself. Unless you're just buying the car to pickup loose women, in which case you shouldve just spent all that money on classy hookers+blow, and youd still come out on top financially.

I'm not saying his acura can beat a $100k car in any kind of race, just to clarify, I'm just saying that buying a factory car isn't as cost effective as buying a cheap car and modifying it to the same performance level, or even buying a modified car that used to be a shitbox. And I would honestly rather drive a shitbox as fast as it can go instead of driving a fast car at 1/4 of its true potential, which is what most people in expensive cars do.

Because LS engines swap in fairly easily, make great power with little or no mods, have readily available parts (go down to your local napa if shit breaks instead of waiting on shipping from a factory in Japan) along with amazing reliability. Most people who own/have owned modified Rx7s know that the rotary design isn't the most reliable/low maintenance thing out there... although, I do admit it is/was a pretty revolutionary design

lmfao a 13.9, whats that like 50 mph?

ive been in a cummmins that ran a 10.9, nice seats too btw, im sure all your bros at highschool will think you are so cool.

n/a 2.0~ liter fwd vs. turbo diesel 6-7 liter rwd that costs twice as much... I'm sure the bro you blew to ride in his truck thinks you are so cool

lol at 2500 pound car vs. 6500 pound truck

aaand i dunno if you know but diesels arent that fast, a 10.9 cummins truck is pretty fucking badass. shit, my truck runs 15 second quarters and its 40 years old... get over it civics are shit all for anything more than cheap transportation

600ft lbs+ of torque vs. less than 200 stock figures... do the math. Also, diesels can get substantial gains across the powerband from simple mods like exhaust.. it's alot harder to make power with an engine that is 1/3-1/4 of the size. Also, fwd =/= not conducive to fast 1/4 mile times. I wasn't trying to say that diesels were that fast... just that turbo'd engines are much easier to make power with than n/a engines. It seems to me like you're completely ignorant to the joy of driving a car fast... and I don't mean stomping on the gas on the freeway. Civics are really fun cars to drive, especially newer ones, as well as being cheap and easy to fix/modify

I was going with the weight to power ratio. And I didn't have to blow anyone to ride in it friends truck. The thing kicks ass by the way I distance even think that was possible since he has a diamond plate bed liner huge ass diamond plate bumpers and a shit Ton of extra worthless weight. It is sick looking I'll post a picture when I get home

Choose to do what stupid shit to my car? It has 2 grand in motor work. And 500 in tuning time? I have about 8000 dollars in this car, you show me a better track ready car for 8000 that can run 13s

hahahaha really?

I can think of about 200

how about a 240, rwd, easy hp- and for that price you could have a monster- would destroy your car in every facet except for maybe driving in the rain

i had a brand new 08 civic 4 door fully loaded non si version...but i can say as a firsthand driver of that car, it was extremely slow and under powered, handled decent nothing special. Personally would never get one again. I got a tahoe now and can gladly say that its faster, handles pretty good for a big truck, and can run civics over any day

240 are slow as crap! Ive waxed like 4 or 5 up at the local strip! Hahahaha So please continue give me 5 cars under 8 grand that are better than my car in every single aspect please.

sr swapped 240 with a proper lsd can be had for under 5 grand easily on craigslist and can run in the 13s... I almost was on your side, but you should stop trash talking lol... also, with all the aftermarket support that now exists for 240s, you can basically buy bolt in kits for ls series engines... so... non running 240 for 500 bucks, limited slip for 1000 new, ls1/trans can be had for 4k, swap parts for easy install for under 2k

we're at 7500 dollars... and although the car at this point wouldnt be better than your car in "every single aspect" it is alot better of a base to build a real performance vehicle than an n/a 4 cyl fwd car

haha- seriously- gtfo- a $8k 240 is gonna have over 280 wheel- not be gay as aids fwd- and absolutely smoke your POS
13.9- try this on for size
bone stock- different injectors and tune- and he runs a 12.5- to give you an idea I can find an sr20 240 for about $3800- the injectors tune and a full turbo back exhaust are gonna run you 1500- that leaves you with another $2700- hmm a set of coils, front mount, and a good set of tires and it will rape your shit from here to next year

how about this one for size

Ive got multiple 12.3 passes in this bitch and it cost me 7 grand-

seriously you should kill yourself- claiming a 13 second pass likes its awesome-

^^^^nice river math brah! Your rice math is so damn wrong too. Hmmmmmm what kind of car do youuuuuuuu drive? Hahaha

He's got a picture of a epic looking Evo that he's trying to sell for 50k. Not sure if I want to buy a 5+ year old evo with tons of upgrades on it. Engine can't last that long. Had a friend that had a 570 HP Evo IX. Lets just say he's had to buy a new engine in less than 3 months.

It's going to be very hard to find an s14 with an sr for 4k (at least around here).. although s13s can be had for that cheap regularly.. unfortunately most s13s have t25s instead of the t28 that comes stock on s14 srs.. which limits their potential for cheap hp somewhat.. I mean, dont get me wrong, its still insanely cost effective to get a front mount + boost controller and gain 20-30 whp over stock, but you cant (somone is going to say you can, but for all useful purposes, you cant lol.. boost spikes dont count) outflow the injectors (370 stock) with a t25

Still, the point remains... iSkiier trash talking out of ignorance

here we go again- people of NS watch this

I drive at the moment a Nissan 350z track- which has nothing done to it with the exception of the exhaust that I welded- anyone who has been on NS long enough knows my plans for over the winter, but just incase

I am going to be building it to a level of car that you will never reach or see in your entire life. Completely bored and stroked Brian Cowers block, Cosworth valvetrain and intake manifold, complete hand built turbo manifold and system comprised of a Borg & Warner EFR 7670 and JM fabrications intercooler core. It will all be controlled by a standalone haltech ecm- From there it will go into a true coilover system comprised of KW variant 3s, all JM fabrications suspension components, and power will be put down to a set of 19x11 wheels(TBD) wrapped in Advan rubber.

Ill have 600rwhp at 13-14 psi- and at high boost and meth my motor will be good for 800 wheel.

My last car was a daily driver- the one pictured- an 01.5 audi s4- with full turboback exhaust and GIAC software it made 295 awhp and 330 ft lb of tq on a mustang dyno
and to clear up my evo- the 52k evo is not mine- thats the shops(still for sale btw if anyone wants it)

My Evo however can be seen here

538 awhp on e85- complete Buschur block, darton sleaves, every single possible thing done to it from Ferrera Valvetrain to a hybrid Blouch/CBRD turbine setup with a custom milled wheel bought off the shop car. - 6.4 second 60-130 time verified by a VBOX

All that crap and your still hardparked! Hahaah I don't listen to future builds and what you plan on doing to your 350 with just an exhaust, typical ricer 1st upgrade. And how am I not going to achieve close to what you plan to achieve? I also have a k24 bottom end I'm building at the moment so your just a weirdo.....!

you should seriously kill yourself now-

calling me a hardparker- that evo had a full blown remote reservoir Ohlins setup that cost more than your car

go away troll

how about 10.8 at 133- and it was never built for drag

or maybe the production lap record at the full course VIR?(for a few minutes until my boss took the record in my car, and then destroyed it in the shop evo)

heres some more- first overall Pennsylvania Hill Climb AssociationFirst in class at multiple time attack events awd series champion at NJMSP summer series
car has been raced and/or driven at VIR, Summit Point, NJMSP, Englishtown(drag and road course), Cecil County, Maple Grove(parking lot for autox- not drag), Pocono road course, Watkins Glen, Lime Rock, Monticello,
Walmart Lot/Watkins Glen- same thing basically right?

douche

@wikiwiki - Do you have a soft spot for Evo's? Cause most people on here have one for Subaru's. I'm more of an Evo fan myself.

first car I bought- it was a salvage that I rebuilt over 3 years - sold it to pay for college. So I was attached but evo's aren't my favorite car. Just happen to be what Is started with and the speciality of the shop that I work at in the summer-
I have one more year left of school so I have to be somewhat reasonable in my purchases- once I can afford it im just going to have a clean fast daily and build a non street legal track day car- possibly something open wheel- idk yet haha- it all takes money

in other news im going to try out for PITTS formula sae team- I can't stand not having my car or access to racing while im out here at school

Hell yeah. That would be a pretty sick deal.

If I ever make enough money to buy some decent cars i'm definitely going to get an Evo FQ360 and an Audi RS4. Love those cars. Audi's just always look good no matter the time. I think the Evo's just look so much more aggressive than the Subi's. And that's why I like them, aside from the fact that the Evo's are faster track cars than the Subi's.
