I don't hate you, I just wish...

what they have in common is several things:

Their skiing is different from everyone elses. They do their own thing and it's sick.

They are innovative. They do cool, original shit.

They have steeze, they seem to care about how their skiing feels and looks, and they seem to have a feel for skiing that is beyond what most people are up to.

They are basically just next-level.

How the hell is what they do innovative or original at all. They only do small styled out spins, I would rather see that instead of hucked shit but it isn't original, new doubles are original, old 540s aren't...

ummm tom wallisch has done shit I have never seen on skis.

tanner hall has done shit I have never seen on skis.

pollard and pep do shit I have never seen on skis...

mickael basically invented being sick, and has the most distinct and amazing style ever.

mahre does shit I have never seen on skis...

the mold is set. as seasons pass there will eventually be more and more people to ski themselves out of the current rut. hopefully such a high priveleged sport will beable to adapt to a level where there is a focus on riding that displays skill through tricks, style, and ultimately expression. not neccesarily the nuttyness of a trick, but the way in which its thrown. less of a sport, more of an outlet?

sure people look at those things and agree that they are important, but it will take time for skiing to fully come into it's own and imbrace these aspects over the supertrick showdown that seems to be in the limelight. there doesn't always need to be brand new rotaations for shit to be new, there are so many variations and personal flavour that can be brought to the table with the tricks that are out there. there's already waves of skiers doing these things, they;re just in the not the primetime yet. extreme seems to be such an invincible sell, hopefully grassroots can sprout in a sport with such whitecollared origins (industry-wise).

You sir are very small minded. Think Thank isn't just 1 footed tricks etc. it is a new perspective on sliding on snow. Your statement ties in with the Think Thank ideals: your only limited by your mind and what it percieves is possible. I don't know 'bout you but goofing around and doing the weirdest shit possible on the hill is some of the funnest stuff for me to do, exactly like Think Thank.

I'm done.
