yea, i fell your pain, im like 15 miles west of him and i am just south of ontario lake effect and just east of erie lake effect.

doesnt make sense because im in a perfect line with the wind right now. it just skips over me and goes to retard no ski land.

haha well i know when i get snow, bristol barely gets any of that but i live in penfield (roch.)

theres lots of water that evaporates from the water so there is a possibility for lots of snow, but then there's wind , which could blow it past you, and the fact that the lake is warmer than the rest of the land so the snow wouldn't be snow at all, it would be rain

ok if ur the county in the middle the reason it is not snowing is MOST of the moisture falls before u and then later i beleive there are small hills/mountains where the moisture rises and condenses and the nthe rest of it falls.

sorta makes sense, but i live in hill area, with alot of hills about 2000ft above sea level and the mountain is 2200 then it drops down and even south of cuse gets no higher than 1500 until the catskills, so the elevation thing is kinda wack. and the stuff coming off the lakes from the start is all snow, not rain
