actually i do. the difference in a population.

in utah if there is any chance of snow, there is 15 threads on it. (it has since tamed down) same with east coast.

MT BAKER has an 87 inch base its been snowing heavily for a few weeks. i search barred and found nothing really. mt baker folk know whats up and either cant afford the internet or keep their damn mouths shut and keep shreading rediculously deep powder and peace. rock on baker. i wish things were that way around here.

Baker locals don't bother getting out of bed until noon unless there's 15+ inches of new snow. Now, if there was a 600 inch base right now, there would be something to talk about.

Thats 50 feet lol. Picture it. Any cliff would either be gone or 50 feet higher lawl. You would be able to ski any line you wanted because there would be sooooo much snow. You could dig a pipe right out of the ground, no need to move snow hahaha.
Definitely need to get out to Baker some time.

how would the cliff get higher? Where is your logic? Also there are a few resorts that get clost to 600 inches every year, like baker, alta, hood.

Because all the kids living in CO or UT making those threads came from the East and can't believe it. And kids from the East think their record breaking three foot storm is as big as all the West coast storms.

yes, but Baker gets the most annual snowfall out of any resort in North America, thats a fact, you can check it. In fact i encourage you to check it.

also baker locals are super protective.

they dont want the place getting blown out like snowbird and things

this was my first opening day where i skied 2-3 ft of rain and not a white strip of death. WA is a bit different, not much hype up here, jut a lot of f-ing rain. PS some dude introduced himself with his NS name, I OMGed and LOLed at the same time.

hhmmm in the city yeah..in the mtns different story..its dumping at baker and stevens today was opening day at stevens

yup this is why we dont talk aboit it. you get a hella crazy thread going and everyone will go to baker. we love our own shit. and anyways we get 87 inches of northwest cement, when utah gets 87 inches its light and fluffy. we are happy with our own keep.

just skied baker yesterday. best pre-january day ive had yet. it was amazing, knee deep everywhere, great visibility (in the morning at least) and hardly anyone there. it was more like mid season conditions, than mid november. no rocks, everything was ski-able... except canyon. so sick!

the annual snow fall at baker is around 650 inches. its not like the snow 54' deep though. a lot of it melts, and a lot of it compacts. ive never been there but i would imagine the snow gets 20' deep where it isnt groomed or skied by the end of the season.

by making this thread youve spoiled their secret, now everyones gunna be there!

your gunna get run down by dem local dogs.
