is it just me or am i one of the only people who could rly give a fuck about football. the only part i enjoy is watching the playoffs
 
Haha i detest football as well. The superbowl is the only game i'll watch and then it's really only for the food.
 
yeah word, I hate it. and everyone from the 40 year old mom to mom to the 13 year old jock is an expert on the teams and players and what they should have done. it's so annoying.

really though, that I can live with. it's sweet to be into your sport. the one that gets me is the rivalries fans have against each other for liking certain teams. its fucking retarded.
 
I live in a major SEC school town. Everybody has liked football sincebirth here. BTW I cant wait to go to the game saturday verses Florida (CBS; 3:30 eastern, btw). GO VOLS!

thank you for saying that. im not that big of a sports fan (my love and everybody elses on this site im sure is skiing and thats all i care about).

i hardly have enough time in the day to enjoy myself, go skiing, party and have fun, let alone worry about what every dam team is doing on every game haha. dont get me wrong, i like some of the playoffs and the superbowl of course but i could care less who wins.
 
i hav no interest in it either. its hard for me to get excited bout a sport where its exciting for 10 seconds then everyone stops and stands around for 3 minutes and does it all over again.....
 
back in the day i hated football i thought it was retarded and cruel....... 5 years later i help coach a little league i watch the nfl as much as possible i watch college football as much as possible i play madden all athe time i wish i was playin the sport this year but decided against it cause of a knee injury and..... oh during football season my schedual is this....

Thu.- MS football (chaingang or spectator)
Fri.- HS game (spectator)
Sat.- Purdue games
Sun. COLTS!!!!!!!!
Mon.- NFL/ help coach little league

 
yeah football isnt all that exciting but my dads fiance is really into it so sometimes ill watch games with her.
 
Football is a great sport because every game every play every second matters.

I guess its just one of those things. If you ever played football you would probably like it. But if you don't like it thats cool too just don't be a little ass hole and bitch about other people enjoying it. And don't talk during the games.
 
idk if i'm not doing something i'll watch it. i used to be wayyyy into it till i was like 12. like i was a steelers madman. i still enjoy it on occasion but not all the time. now good match ups, playoffs and superbowl are a must watch.
 
the only reason i show up to practice is so i can hit people, but i love watching because i know alot about it. and cause i play. there is something happening on every play. football and basketball are the only sports i will watch, unless the red sox are in the playoffs. i keep updated on baseball, but i dont really take time to watch it.
 
your not the only one man, i dont really like any other sports because everything seems lame compared to skiing. ONE LOVE
 
word. If your gonna like a sport, dont hate on other people who like the same sport but like a different team.

And to me football is fun as a backyard sport, but once it gets organized the big overpayed teams ruin the fun.

Dude rivalries are a HUGE part of football. It's not hate. They just love one team, and are super passionate about it.

not really. I have a bet for $50 saying that McCain is going to win. And if I lose, well...there is no losing. Either I'm out $50 or Obama wins. How can I lose this one?
 
oh i'm still a big steelers fan. i'm talking i'd fucking cry when they lost and shit back in the day dude. like the stewart and maddox era. my week would be ruined till the next game. it was crazy. i'm still a steelers fan all the way though nick, don't worry!
