sorry, im newish to NS, what does threads mean?
by the way, i really wanna see a video of someone do this, but most lifts have the bar that stops the lift if it gets hit.
 
So the thread is saved in the "My Threads" section under your profile name in the left hand corner. You can click it and check to see if someone actually did it or not (or whatever you wanted to check back later for).

I could do this, but at my mountain there are little things at the top that if your legs hit it, it stops the lift.
 
Okay, a possible $20 winner is also anyone who can get past the station, trip the bar, and if someone falls in one of the nets. It can be you that falls in the net, but again, vid is a must. Also note that Malcolm said sticker pack goes to the first vid - same goes for me. $20 is the first vid/thread with vid that accomplishes this. I wish I had more than that to offer to multiple winners, but my wife would probably kill me if I offered more. Haha.
And on a side note to someone who asked about my icon - yep it is my little girl and she is doing a lot better. Hasn't been to the hospital since the second round of a week stay but is still on a bunch of different medicines we'd like to get her off. See my profile for her skills on some sticks ;)

I will figure out a way to custom make penis shaped pole baskets in addition to the stickers and $20. Message me when complete and posted. I am not saying they will be cool, but they will leave penis prints in the snow.
 
The fact you do it with strangers makes it really hard. I guess you could start saying you didnt wanna get off the lift because you were to scared or something. No doubt in my mind someone is doing this challenge this weekend cant wait for videos
 
one time i was on a lift with this scottish guy and he got so distracted talking about some sick line.. we were nearing the top and i was yelling "dude.. bar.. DUDE.. BARR" he didn't notice until the last possible second you could get up and off. stupid shit. anyways this is a hilarious idea. i like it. I would never do that.. I'm impatient enough getting to the top of a chairlift as it is.. going around would fucking suck.
 
our park lift is fast but only holds 2ppl, if i get on with a random person and do it would it count or does it have to be on a 6 person chair
 
it should be more than a 2, but def doesnt have to be a six, four would do fine. extra credit for six tho. and this may just be my personal opinion but i think it should be done in broad daylight at a busy time, not just late at night on a barely used lift.

oh and by the looks of the posts, the reward looks like it has gone to $30, a ns sticker pack, a on3p sticker pack, and karma from pretty much everyone monitoring this thread. this just keeps gettn better
 
what about get in the gondola last, and when the doors open at the top, get up and block them. 7+ people going to the bottom with you.
 
you should get a friend to maybe distract the lifty, like mooning the window of their little hut right as you are going around. Once you get past a certain point they cant reverse the lift, so you'd be golden
