we were doing this local comp and top prize was a pair of solomon thrusters ot something, anyway it was last run and he was second, and he asks me wot he should do for his last trick so i told him a sw1 tail, but he sed no then he did a sketchy 3 and finished second, i sed to him after " why did't you do wot i sed" n he told me it was a shit trick. do u agree or do you think he could have won it with the sw1 tail. and in the end he was 4 points of when before his last run he was 2.5. i told him he was a fool!!
 
it was a little local one, at least its a bit of something n not just riding. its nice to do a comp now and again not just riding not matter the size of the comp. and if you must know we had 1080's and in the big train we all did at the end there was about 7 that did cork 7's
 
so kids were ddoing tens and cork sevens in a train after the comp but a switch 180 tailgrab would have one the fucking thing? wow and we thought the xgames had bad judging
 
so a sketchy 3 got second place, what kind of comp is this? Well if he threw a sketchy 3 i dont think he could've thrown a sweet switch 1 tail. You have to be smooth and hold the grap long too. Anyway a switch 1 shifty would've won it.
 
there was a big air comp at my mtn...i couldnt enter case no1 abve 18 was w/ me. so there were 2 kids in 11-13 age group. one kid did a critical for first run and an iron cross for the second. the other kid did a mute for the 1st and a decent 3 for the 2nd. the judging was the best of the 2 runs. they said the crit was nicer than the mute so the kid wh ojust threw 2 grabs won. also both the kids parent and his sister work at the mountain. i wonder y he won
 
i do not like sw 180 at all...they are my most hated trick in skiing....unless its turning around from switch....but i hate them off jumps...they dont seem style at all to me
 
was the jump hella small or the were the judges really wierd and gave props to small tricks, or did the skiers just throw small tricks?? I woulda lincolned it and got a free pair of skis im so bummed now.
