My dad's friend quit his NW airlines job so he could join another airline in dubai. My dad was thinking about doing the same. But he decided to get interviewed, if they liked him then the company would send my dad and our family to dubai to see what it was like. Then my dad would turn them down.

Its kinda stealing from them though,

They provide airfair and housing.

The company gave my dads friend a huge house (I think 30,000 sq.ft[i am not that sure about that though]) Completly free.

And the first $80,000 pay is tax free.

My dad is complety qaulifed for the job but I don't like the heat and that indoor ski arena is way to small and I don't think they have a park.

But then again its dubai and we could use the money, but then agian thiers terroist's that live not to far away.

I don't know the size, I am trying to remember waht it was. I thought 30,000 sq.ft was kinda big.

I am gonna say that its a big house for dubai. Forget the 30,000 sq.ft

Also my family might go just to vist my dads friend.

my uncle and his family moved to dubai probably....five years ago and lived in a protected community working for an oil company.

they made bank, and then moved back to the U.S.

..it's not a horrible option.

man they've got that new ski dome thing. i saw it on the discovery chanel so you still could go skiing in dubai. not sure if i'd wanta live there though. all these A-rabs everywhere. but it is one of the richest countrys out there.

its like vegas on crack and way way hotter. i say do it. if youre still in high school, you can always go to college in america (and get scholarships for being an international student!)

wrong, Dubai has one of the world's highest dew points. Dewpoint is the temp at which there would be 100% humidity.

Basically a dew point of 60-70 is like Southern state hell. Dubai has had record dewpoints in the 90's!!

wow, it sounds like a good plan to be able to ski it, but i dont know if i could live there. I spose it would depend on where i was in my life

its extremely nice. the rest of the middle east views it as the paragon of what they want there cities to be. like bahrain (where jackson lives) strives to be like dubai. its the nicest place in that area, so dont feel too bad.

but stay if you can. america is a cool place.

hard decision, but think, if you go there, its a city that is growing very rapidly, lots of money going into it, if you get the right connections and make some right decisions, you could really make some good money(or ur dad)
