I converted my girl.......

get her the missdamenors i think she will like the graphic and it has a great flex patter for girls (lighter)

well unless shes going to be charging deep pow you dont really need to worry about that and fujatives will do fine

the only thing i don't like about the missdemeanours is how bloody expensive they are as compared to the fujatives... but yeah, they do have sick graphics... and the actually ski itself she likely won't notice being at the level she's at...

^ I agree. Some of last years pe's would be cheap and good too though. They would probably be better then fujis.

I'm glad you didn't say you converted her to a guy.

And if she charges super hard, is used to a stiff board, or isn't a super skinny bitch there is no reason she can't use not-women specific skis. Have her demo some skis so you know she won't hate her first pair.

If shes just learning not park skis, get her to rent carving skis and take lessons until she can turn then get park/all mountain skis.

pretty much all the skis that have been named will work. just go with the cheaper set up. since shes at such a low level then she wont really notice a differnce in the skis

get a pretty stiff ski so when she gets something softer its easier for her. a stiff ski wll also build up her stamina and allow more postitions

The fujatives are probably fine for her all-mtn. because of the softer flex...which is what most "girl" skis are, just a softer version of the "guys" ski

nice work... now you will see the endless joy of waiting in lift lines as well as being faced with the decision between ditching her and ripping hard all day or getting laid that night..

not to mention how much FUN it is to teach a complete beginner how to ski when you should be sessioning with friends.

but that's ok... love is about sacrifice right?

haha how about she already knows how to ski and I just got her to put the board away and go back to em. As far as rippin without her? She will be lucky if I ski with her more than once a week, I got shit to do. Hell, I'll teach her to follow cam.

yea if she's just starting it makes no sense to put her on fujatives, get a cheap carving ski and learn how the ski the right way

def. get her a twin. if shes coming from snowboarding to skiing, the switch over isnt hard and its not shes going to just want to go straight and forward all the time. a good fun park or all-mountain based twin will suit her well.

fujatives ski fine out of the park. my last two years, ive had a pair of fujatives at my mountain in montana which also gets plenty of pow and they got it done there adn in the park.
