I completely lost the ability to Cork 7

I had my cork 7s flawless with grabs up until about a month ago. Then, i started experimenting with tweaked safeties and i really messed them up. Everytime i try to cork 7 i do an ugly 7 that is barely inverted and sketchy, it looks stupid. Is there any way i can just start with a clean slate? Or any different ways of setting it you could recommend? Everyway i try to set it i go off axis (barely) and spin to 810. I tried starting over the whole process of learning corks but it didn't work...

I'm thinking you might be setting your cork too soon on the take off or still on the jump. I've found if you can wait until 180 before dropping down into the cork it can really get things sideways or upside down depending how hard you set it

I used to have a really cool unnatty cork 5-7 but stopped doing them for a bit and forgot how.

Fuck losing tricks. IF you want it just go for it again and hope it comes back. If you get it do it a bunch to get the muscle memory down.

practice getting a grab like japan that really helps you get inverted. and if your spinning to much try doing some cork 5s

Sorta had the same thing happen. I just started travelling about 10 feet back and to the left one day.

On a trampoline, do a ton of underflip 5s so you can spot your landing the entire trick, and after you're super comfortable and can play around with them, add the extra 180 at the end to make it d-spin 7. Once you have d-spin 7, it's pretty easy to get back to true cork 7. Then hit the snow.

I had a similar problem with 3's. Fucking 3's! It happened after I learned flat 3's. I took it right back to basics. No grab, smaller jumps and just thought about the fundamentals of the trick.

i throw my corks like a mogul skier so i never throw them. I have them pretty clean they just look to aerialistic

same thing happened to me on tramp

I had both sides down , and one day I couldn't do one anymore.

it's weird but fuck tramp anyway

maybe you can video your moves so you could review what's wrong and what's lacking..
