I can tell does any one know the answer to my question, everyone thinks its real but i cant tell the camera angles look to perfect. and kristen was jsut on trl and jsut the way she was talking made it feel not real. im really confused. any one have an answer?

my other thought on this show is that in the begining of the one episoide there were pictures of people and kids that kinda resembled the cast of the show so i was thinking maybe it was just based on these kids Junior/ Senior years and then they react out all the situations. idk those cameras and the audio throw me off every time, cause like if you watch the real world the quality of the picture and the audio isnt any where close to it of luguna beach

thats really weird because i just watched it for the first time, i saw five minutes and turned it off. and from what i saw it looked incredibly staged. Its a show about nothing, not the good nothing like seinfeld but completely nothing.

my friend made me watch it tonight. it was pretty painful to sit through, all the girls are so self centered its rediculous. and the one of them looks like a whale, somebody should probably harpoon her.

 
i was there over semester break and everyone seemed to be real nice. shit was really expensive though, and the night life is real bad.

 
all the footage is real there are still eediting tricks for the producers to do to create a certain charcter for each person in the shows. just like all reality shows there are always ways the make charcters out to be..

my friend tyler lives out in mammoth and he partied with them one night when they were up thur, his friend was the one they showed ripping this steezey cork 7 of this huge table in the first episode or something. that girl kristen visited my college last year it was funny, I was all high and shit going to lunch and I walked right by her tour group and I was all befuddled

yea im undecided, like there are some things i think are real but the producers give them some things to say and do

 
no its real. i've met a bunch of them when ive been down south on surf trips. theyre all just like every other beach kid, self centered and out to have a good time. a few of my friends go to school with LC and Stephen. haha those 2 get kicked out of parties and stuff all the time. they live pretty low-key at school in SF.

i have friends who went to school with them, too. there was a big casting call and they took the pretty ones with a "love triangle." right. whatever.

the show is just set up though so that there are always cameras avaliable on every person and its edited like a mother fucker. they splice scenes in and out and move the sequence and stuff so its more dramatic.

it hurt when that one girl sang.
