i have both...personally, i'd say the moships are for sure stiffer (if you are asking about the titaniums). don't get the flights if you want a sick bc ski. i love them both, but am planning to save the moship ti's for mainly pow. i have reactors on the moships and p12 jibs on the pistols and like the jibs better.

anyway, both sticks are sick...you can't go wrong either way.

Small, simple, safe price. Rise the wake and carry me with all of my regrets. This is not a small cut that scabs and dries and flakes and heals. And I am not afraid to die. I\'m not afraid to bleed and fuck and fight. I want the pain of payment. What\'s left but a section of pigmy-sized cuts. Much like a slew of a thousand unwanted fucks. Would you be my little cut? Would you be my thousand fucks? And make mark leaving space for the guilt to be liquid. To fill and spill over and under my thoughts. My sad, sorry, selfish craft of the cutter. I\'m cutting trying to picture your black broken heart. Love is not like anything, especially a fucking knife!

i rode my mothership ti's yesterday for the frist time and couldn't belive how well they blast throuht everything. i had no problems when everything was getting super tracked up. they are stiffer then the pistols and fater.

hey man, i own the motherships with the titanium and they are much stiffer than the pistols. Personally, for total BC, id ride the mothers b/c of their stiffness and fattness. Im also looking to tadre my mothers for 179 K2 Fujatives, if you know anyone looking for a pair....

skiing sucks

I bought the Jaks this year and too be honest they are not as soft as I thought they would be.

Jaks are a good deal but the 200 bucks only gets you a 190. pretty big for an everyday ski. also the tail is flared but nothing like the moship. you can still land switch but switch in powder might be tricky.

P.S. JAPAN HAS SICK POWDER

Who gives a shit? Either way, you're getting a good ski. For what it's worth, the Pistol was designed after 'someone' rode the Mothership and liked it a little too much.

'No i dont care about your post count, i care about you being a cocksucker.' Crystalneedsa... 'My friend's and I formed a NO GIRLS ALLOWED club when we were little. Then we gave it up when girls made my penis get hard' Midwest_rep 'I think skiing in general is just a phase'-My friend Josh.

ok whats better about the COPY of the motherhip?

Its not a copy of the whole ski, It is a copy of the concept.

Plus just becase someone copies somthing dosnt mean that it is worse, look at all the japanies products.

They put there ski input, manufacturing and knowledge into the design.

you still didn't back up your claim i'm going to claim that the Mothership Ti is one of this years best fat twins becasuse of the added stiffness. fater design, fatter egdges, single seam cap design, (not a big fan of petex sidewalls) and the added fiber glass over the edges. most powder ski reviews have done nothing but rave about this ski.

Im sure they are great skis. Was thinking about getting a pair.

Just didnt beacause I heard a lot of people say that they where only good in powder.

^If you have one, you're not likely to have the other. Let's just say you can't lose either way... so decide based on whether you want a slightly stiffer or softer ski, and what length you want.

i have both. 182 moship ti and 179 seth pistol.

the moship is clearly the stiffer of the two. both rip through crud with no probelm. unfotunately, with no big snow yet this year I have been unable to ski either one in powder, but i'm sure they'll both be sick as fuck.

in my opinion, if you plan on using the skis for all-mountain, pow and some park, get the pistols. if you want a straight up pow stick, get the moship titaniums.

i take my pistols out in any conditions, but the moships are being saved for big pow days.

as stated above, both skis are bad ass and you can't go wrong either way. hope this helps

the motherships are damn sick where the pistols can be somewhat of a boring ski what adds to the mothership is the carbon stringers running throughout the ski it gives you so much pop that sometimes its just unreal. Line has not been around for as long as K2 but they have definitley been 'keepin it fresh since 95' showing that their product can stand up with the rest of them. if your looking for a sick BC pow twin wait till next week when the Line prophet comes out the sickest pow twin ever produced. An yes i have skied all three..

d. pietrovito

ya the motherships sound like they have alot of pop...the prophets are crazy...130 thats soooo wide...i ski a size 172...and dude^^^^are you a rep or sumthin?

the mothership flites are sick for whatever you want to ski, theyre stiffer than i expected too, lots and lots and lots of pizop

...............................................................................................

Clearly very educated, if he thinks Line has been around for as long as K2, and is offering us a sneak peek at the prophets... You must have some kind of secret information source. Wow, please, post more, o enlightened and educated shop geek lord.

The pistols are a boring ski? Yeah, Seth thinks so too. He only skis them because he has to. How the hell did you come up with that?

yes, thanks for reading better, I spoke with my line alliance rep today to re-order some chronics since they are selling like the chronic and i asked when i should see my phophets an he told me later next week, so if you want some they will be out soon just don't forget your run away strap cause the widest brake on the market isn't wide enough (the salamander) an its way to far to be bendin brakes... they are making a brake to go on the reactor twelve for next year that will be wide enough for the prophet just imagine how hard that will be to get in the heel..

d. pietrovito

I was being faceicious... your preview was a bit of a joke, considering we've had pictures of the Prophets on this website for about six months, and known about them for longer than that... I was just pointing that out, as part of a criticism of your opinion on the Pistols, which, I was trying to contend, should not be taken as gospel (after all, Seth skis them)... also, I doubt you'll get too many pairs of those things. They'll be tough to sell, since very few are of the stature to use them. Too fat for me to have any use for them, at that price.

whats the price you heard, an as any of us eastern skiers are concerned any ski over 110 under foot is a fuckin good time, its a ski that lets people dream and its a great time in pow, we sell lots of skis to kids in alaska and all over the world. Its something new and different, i thought three months ago we'd have trouble selling the Gotama as well but ive sold 20 pairs of them an its another up an comer give the prophet a chance you'll see it out there. ANother ski that we have is the JP Vs Jullian most places don't carry it for the reasons u said bout the prophet but hey someone will buy it and thats why i carry it.

d. pietrovito

Jp vs J and Gotama have waists in the 100-107 range, as do the Made'ns, and will sell pretty well among people looking for fatter pow skis than pistols or moships. But the Prophet is 130mm... that's a HUGE difference. I ski B.C. and WA, but I'm sorry, I just don't need that much waist to float. I agree that it would be fun, but for ~$800 US (The price I was quoted, it's just not versatile enough to be worth it; I could never ski it anywhere other than in the powder. My other skis would simply outperform it anywhere else (obviously). Hell, even for 500 bucks, I could find something I'd get more use and enjoyment out of. It seems to me that they're a killer uberfat ski, but really only for people skiing a ton of heli who have skis for every other conceivable condition.

i totally agree with you but, there are people out there and even in here that i think would ski them enjoy them an be glad that they are on a ski that wide some water skis aren't that wide let alone snowboards but who cares lets start a freeskiing revolution and see where it takes us, No disrespect your on top of your shit. just wish some other people would be and let me get you a quote on those because i was planning on being somewhere in between 5 an 8 bills...

d. pietrovito

Hey, I won't disrespect anyone if they choose to ski them, I just don't personally see them as all that practical for the common consumer. And you'll find a lot of people are on top of their shit... especially all the reps, skiers, and guys from PBP, L1P, Theory-3 and other film companies.

I bought Mothership Titaniums after trying out both the Pocket Rocket and the Seth Pistol last season. Personally, I found them both to be great all round skis for the terrain I ride, in the region I'm in. However, after the reviews I've read and the people I've spoken to who have sampled the Motherships, I felt confident enough to buy from LINE. I've yet to hear anything negative from people who have tried them.

Obviously I haven't tried my Mo'ships yet, but I can't wait. You can just feel how bad ass they are when you hold them in your hands. Seriously though... Pistol or Mothership - how can you go wrong?

That's just my opinion though and I've had way too many social beverages... I'm out.

i rode PR last year one day and loved the feel of the width but hatted how flimsy they were i felt unstable at higher speeds. but with my moships i rip fast and hard and the ski keeps up, its all about a stiffer stick.
