I can see people dying on this thing

Ha, i read about that the other day. very unique, but.... come on. I can't see 'Best Landing' competitions catching on.

hmm at first i thought it was just like a giant quarter pipe to hit and that crane was for photographers...i guess its cool to drop in???

na guys, it makes sick viewing- i remember seeing victoria jealouse and travice rice doin this shit on sb. up to like 50ft.

How big is the cranes pad do they all go up at once or does it lower and raise after each rider which would blow nuts!!

it doesn't even seem that cool, like have them drop in and then hit another quarter or something. I agree with Cedric, i can totally see people getting super hurt or dying on this thing.

yeah i think its kinda stupid but wouldnt mind seeing it

people are gonna get destoryed tho

also theres not much you can do while in the air, i mean a grab but thats basically it, oh well i guess jumping from 20ft in the air makes up for it

Quarters are made to go up on. The only way using a crane is cool is if you do massive step up stalls, the whole idea is so played.

how is everyone going to get up there? they cant poccibly fit all the competitiors up there at once? A SIX STORY BUILDING! is theequivalent of whatthey will be dropping off. stupid idea in my opinion...it may show some potential though for some new things....

I think it will be sweet if they focus on styling out their landings, you know everyone likes to see a sick afterbang

yeah that's pretty gay cause once they reach a certain height, everyones going to be flailing their arms like a raped chicken and style will go the way this idea should have gone -- down the tubes. lol I'll still watch and laugh.

as a brit i must protest!! we have some quality skiers over here and the brits is normally a great event to watch. last year's brits mike wakefield did a d-spin 1080 in the pipe, not bad seeing as we dont have mountains. we learn on dry slope making us a lot harder then most, and we normally excell at really obscure things (eg. curling and skeleton?!) so i reckon it'll be an event we'd be good at!

Doing something like this with the top freeskiers/snowboarders in the world is one thing, but I don't know of any top ranked Brits. I agree, this is asking for trouble and asking for injuries.

But it will probably be crazy fun to watch.

you cant really die from crashing on curling... I wouldnt say the same thing about skeleton tho..

still that set up is just so stupid, ok so we get higher untill someone crash... lol

They know people will crash and still go for it... hahahaha reminds me of the libertel thing in running man by stephen king*(Richard Backman)

Dude this was done sooooo long ago but not as a comp. I think it'll turn out great and not many injuries really.
