I bought DPS... plz help

Some dude was selling lotus 138's brand new on eBay. Can I ski theses? I'm not a rich asshole, but they look dope af. Or should I just sell em?

Terrible one ski quiver, I wouldn't buy DPS unless all you do is tour, otherwise seems like you could get much better bang for your buck from another brand.

How often do you ski really deep snow?

How much profit could you make off them?

Would they be a touring setup?

i bought em for 500 brand new, compared to the 1300 or whatever they sell em for

If I were you I'd try and flip em for 800ish and then use the profit towards a different setup that is better for more conditions. If you have a big quiver already and see yourself skiing them a lot then keep em! Different strokes for different folks

Yeah that's not a bad deal, just don't expect them to ski well without mint af conditions. That being said I know some buddies who were trying out some of their next years line and apparently they're pretty sick, so who knows maybe they will have some proper charging skis in the future.

dude it's so tempting to keep them, i honestly I nut a little when i bought em

I rented these once when I was cat skiing in BC. Otherworldy fun when compared to anything else for deep pow... but they are death traps for anything else. I honestly would probably never use them at a resort or for touring. A very specific ski, but a damn fun one.

They’re your only pair of skis?

either way I say keep em for those days it dumps a foot! You’ll be happy you did , just find another deal on a good one ski quiver

I use a pair of the carbon 112s for touring... my dad game em to me and they float surprisingly well. I normally ski kartel 108s so the dps feels like they’re mounted really far back with really stiff tails. Depends on your style

Great investment. Your covered for the rest of your life on the deepest of deep days. But your gonna want to bring another pair on trips and those and whatever else you bring are gonna be damn close to that 50 pound limit to fly with.

lol sounds like a plan!

Do complete tune yourself if u know how.

Resell for more. Or keep bindings, trade for cheaper/more used ski that has bindings=boom extra bindings
