So, im flying to london tomorrow for my sister's wedding. this morning, i get woken up by a call from my mom saying to not be alarmed, but that there is some scary shit going down about flights to and from england. so, from what i understand, everything is fine, just crazy high security, so tomorrow will probably be one of the safest days to fly, besides right after 9/11, but still. the feeling i had when my mom told me, is not a feeling i ever want to have again. its literally sheer terror.

im fucking scared.
 
don't worry dude...it's the flights to the US that were having trouble with terrorists (it sounds rather weird, doesn't it?). I'm assuming you're flying from Denmark/Netherlands to London?
 
But does he have the courage to stand in a line for a planeride that might kill him? The laugh in the face of warnings and terror reports? Is he a gambler brave enough to put his life on the line? for his family? Or is he couragous of a diffrent sort, willing to say "No" and save his sister the pain which might be caused were terrorists to strike.

Its a sticky situation. And I dont know which would be harder to do.
 
Last I heard, Heathrow and Gatwick are pretty much closed. I live right near London Gatwick, and usually aircraft come over every few minutes or so. But today, i've seen 1 or 2 all day.
 
ha, i wish i was flying form holland. no, instead im flying from fuckin dulles int'l airport, aka washington DC's int'l airport...hence my worry...

fuckin towel heads. thats all i can say...they always know how to get us on edge.
 
my brother was on a flight going from munich to philly i think and some terrorist stood up and started yelling something, a huge german guy in front of my brother just got up and beat the crap outta the guy as soon as it happen... im guessing the guy gets to fly anywhere for free now ahaha

I think right now is one of the safest times to fly like you said. The pot has already been stirred and the airport security is at like an all time high. Expect a shitload of searches though. It will take a while, but you difinatley will make it there safe.
 
try not think about youll be fine the airport you're flying from is probly the safest one considering its near washington dc theyll have mad security tho id go early
 
i heard about that, i got freaked out about it too cause I just got back from London a few weeks ago and also found out I was in Paris on Vestil day when supposedly there were terrorists planning on blowing up the eiffel tower and i was right beside it. crazy shit

 
the only way to protect yourself is to try and bring a gun on the plane so that if the terrorists strike, you'll be ready.

Hahaha, consider yourself lucky. On monday, Im doing a Nice-London-Miami-New-York-Vancouver. I have the feeling im gonna spend some time in the customs line.

im just pissed now cuz i probably wont be able to take my ipod onto the plane, and i swear to god, if there is a baby behind me kicking my seat, i'll turn around and ask him "Why do you kick my seat infidel? do you really want to end your life today in the name of allah?" just to scare the shit out of him.

fuck i hate it when kids kick my seat.

anyways, they will prob put a ton of air marshalls on all those flights, so I think youll be safe.

thats when the kid behind me is a midget air marshall who ends up tasering me and sitting on me for the rest of the flight.
 
my mom is a travel agent, and we travel all over the world...

ever since 911, i have always been scared shitless the night before. But when we go through customs, security, and give our boarding pases, i look at my mom, dad, and brother...and think(okay, this isnt nice, but) "there all calm..so its cool..if we do get hijacked or something...at least we are all in it together"...it may not be the most kind way to think about it... im not afraid of flying, im afraid ofthe terrorists...man, there GAY!
 
how can any of you be so sure the uk and the us didint orchastrate this shit? its got people scared again and they didint even have to do anything. the only reason you believe it is because its on the news. that ridiculous. im not saying i know what happened but you are all talking like it definatly happened.
 
i just look around when i get to the terminal for big dudes so that if shit goes down, i know we got man power to take those ma fuckas down
 
hmmm that could very well be true, they didnt find weapons of mass destruction, theyre fucking up in iraq, the war on terror is sort of becoming a joke, super low aproval ratings. the media lives off of people's fear.

Why broadcast it? it's better for there business, they dont want any news saying there was a terrorist on there airplane, thats why they gave the guy a bunch of free flights to wherever they wanted, though my brother had to sit in the airport for 2 hours and fill out these reports
