I am sick of this bitching about "global warming"

Stop being so goddamn paranoid. Basically the reason "it hasn't snowed" is because you hit your teenage years when you BEGIN to take your head out of your ass and look at the world. When your younger you don't give a fuck. You have nothing to judge your measurements on dude. How long have you been alive.. 16..17..18 years??? Seriously weather is in patterns and you only saw like three weather pattern changes and two of those you were two young to really give a fuck. Just chill out and smoke a blunt its going to snow..
 
Al Gore's movie was good, and very informative I thought. I don't understand how people can deny that global warming is occuring. Sure, climates fluctuate, but not to the degree that they are now. Also, its not that the whole world is getting warmer, but that it disrupts natural patterns and systems. That's why the west coast is getting dumped on and the east is just getting rain and 50+ degree days. In fact, if global warming continues at this rate it will cause an ice age. When the gulf stream in the Atlantic is disrupted, warm water will stop circulating to the north, and the ice cap will reach further and further south.

So whether or not you're feeling global warming, its happening.

I know that I'm not enjoying this summertime bullshit in December.
 
There is certainly a lot of truth to that. Although I dont agree with fate, we do have the options to change things. However, that is rather difficult considering how engraved our way of life it. But one important factor that would seem to be necessary is know the problem. If we don't know, then we certainly can't fix it knowingly. So the good in addressing it and gaining widespread awareness could lead to changes in the future.

Winter 2004 the east coast had 5 storms that dropped over a foot of snow and two over two feet of snow classified as northeasterners and our season snowfall was 3 feet over average.
 
global warming is a huge scam! this warming of the earth happens in cycles and its been going on since the beginning of time. the cycle goes as is: the earth gradually gets warmer and warmer until eventually the magnetic force on earth changes. north becomes south and south becomes north. when these changes of the magnetic force are done, then we experience an ice age. so keep your hopes up and maybe soon we’ll be skiing year round all over the globe!

how many years was that? I dont remember...something like 50 millions? I dont think a cycle would stay that long. maybe just an asteroid or slow upward rotation of the earth made this.

And also to everyone who says that global warming is causing it to be 55 in December are dumbasses. Was it 54 last year in December? No. Seriously, posting news shit is worthless, most shit said about global warming is a fucking over exaggeration. Sure it caused there to be less snow now than 10-15 years ago, but you dumbshits saying it is changing weather over ONE YEAR are wrong.

I will say it again, and i will always say it:

GLOBAL WARMING IS NOT CAUSING IT TO BE 55 IN DECEMBER OR FOR LACK OF SNOW!

Now stop saying it is because you are wrong, period.
 
We are currently on a global warming trend from the last ice age, if you look at the graphs of global temperatures over the last quarter million years or so, you'll notice that our period of warming coincides nicely with the periodic warming/cooling associated w/ ice ages.

HOWEVER: Human co2 emissions are making this MUCH worse. That's why it's a problem and a hot political issue. It is not a scientific point of contention.
