I am Moving to Tahoe...Need some tips!

Moving to Lake Tahoe mid september. Want to work at Squaw...how is housing, and what is the best way to get hooked up with housing prior to moving out there?

Any tips would be appreciated!

i've already killed tahoe and now i live in mammoth and i killed that too, so i just ski june i'm pretty much done killin it there too,

you might as well just stay out of cali its played out cause nobody is as good as me,

i ride for vonzipper and nordica, so if your gonna try to talk shit back dont! cause they know i'm the shit and so do i, so stay out of cali. campbell

I dunno how much I can help you, but you're gonna love it in tahoe. Sooo much more snow than colorado, and next year is EL NINO!!! *knock on wood*

Find a job at squaw is pretty easy, don't know about housing w/o having roomates though

Squaw has some pretty bloody ugly uniforms though. It's like a 1960's girl guide reunion :)

They just built a new base village, but im not sure if that has any staff accom. Might have to live in Tahoe city or Incline village (I think).

I just spent the winter at heavenly and that was awesome. Kirkwood, which is about 1 1/2h drive from Squaw has the most snowfall out of any North American resort. They had like a 12 foot dump not too long ago.

Check out squaw's website would be your best bet.

relax, baker will still get 500 inches or whatever. you'll be fine. and kirkwood will get 700 :-)

I plan to goto mammoth next season...along with 200 odd other New Zealander's and Australians. :)
