it was ok, i thought - not great, not terrible. sam dying was really sad i'll admit. but there are definitely some big logical holes - like how did anna get on and off the island? i suppose one of the bridges could've survived but the flashbacks seem to preclude that possibility.

and yeah, the bob marley thing...really? is that the best metaphor they could come up with?

 
i saw it with a 10 year old kid. funniest shit ever. best movie experience ever. the movie was dope and sitting next to this kid and watching his reactions, funniest shit ever.
 
to be honest I wasn't a huge fan. the practically ford commercial at the beggining was a huge turn off too. anyway, i thought will smith did an awesome job, filming, editing was good, I just couldn't handle the "zombies." if maybe they were i guess more humanlike it would be cooler.

so i give it an ok rating
 
well to me she made it seem like there was a way to get off of the island to the safe place that she goes to in the end..good question tho.

definately thought this movie was good. i think its the best movie to come out of the theaters in a while with as much intensity as it had.

i wouldnt mind going to it again which i probably will do.
 
i though when he was talking about bob marley and how he could thought cure the world of evil with music or w.e he said i thought they where ganna play the music or something to make the zombies better. it would have killed the movie lol
 
I thought the ending was ok, it tied up some loose ends......and pretty much shut off the part of my brain that wonders what happens after the movie is over. In children of men i thought it finished too early.....like i wanted to know what that human project thing was, and what were they going to do. Like what happened to the human race after that.

You don't get that feeling with this movie. The end of the movie is the end of the movie, and im happy with that. But one of the best parts of the movie is watching the trailer for cloverfield......that shit looks fuckin awesome.
 
Exactly my thoughts! What an unoriginal movie. Special effects were interesting, but how hard is it to guess after 5 minutes that the dog's gonna die? The plot sucked, stupid zombies fighting him the whole movie...ok? Anything more??? Nope, nothing whatsoever. This was about as good as "war of the worlds". Which was not good.

was a prty tight movie tho i loved it... best part was "FRED... YOU BETTER TELL ME IF UR REAL RIGHT NOW!!!" i was crackin up
