There's a kid on my track team who is pretty annoying and has a very real fear of missing out on things, and he got injured last week so he hasn't been at practice. so today after practice he messaged everyone on the team asking which dining hall we were eating dinner at so we all responded saying that we were all going to a restaurant in the next town over, however, he doesn't have a car so he took the campus taxi service to the border of the town (as far as it is allowed to take him) and then he walked 2 miles in the dark to the restaurant. All the while we had been eating at the dining hall the whole time. I like to think that is better.

I've seen group-bullying at work before and yeah, someone might be annoying or slow or just weird as fuck in general but that doesn't mean you need to do this shit. It's disgusting and takes literally no courage, intelligence, effort, ect to be another one of the fuckwits egging it on.

Grow some balls and let the kid know, you don't even have to be nice to him or talk to him or anything.
