Yes, that’s right! The guy who has over 16,000 posts is going to Stanford for 10 days. Why? Its tops secret-classified. I am leaving from Vancouver to San Francisco and then meeting some people to drive me to Palo Alto, which is 1 hr from San Fran to Stanford.

I will be the first member of newschoolers.com to ever go to Stanford and I am pretty damn sure, not one else has ever been there.

I went to stanford last summer! again, not as an actual student. but I still went. sorry but you're not the only one.

I doubt there's anyone on this site that actually goes there though. Like as a student. From what I hear you have to work pretty hard and probably wouldn't have time for either skiing or being addicted to ns.

i'm goin there next year for school but was wondering if there is any skiing at all close!?! may end up bailin outta there if i cant go skiin

and dude, even if it is a long drive to ski, don't bail on Stanford just for that.
 
EPIC FAIL - i live 45 mins away from Palo Alto, have been there a few times, and there was actually a kid on this site a while back who was a grad student there.

Either way, enjoy the snobbiest campus on the entire West Coast that isnt named Pepperdine (Its in Malibu, so it wins that award). Swear... the undergrad kids that do go there seem to be such freaking rich snobs.. And the town of Palo Alto isn't much different in that regard - quite stuck up if you ask me. You'll have more fun if you stay in San Francisco, or go a bit south to Santa Cruz...

I might be a little biased (UC Berkeley is where it's fucking at son!) But really, i'm not a fan of the area... lol

okay... EPIC FAIL was right... I didnt see this thread was 4 years old.

That said, skiing is 4 hours away, because Bay Area traffic (especially in the south bay) is terrible.

its not a terrible distance, but if you dont find some buddies who are stoked on going to the snow, you'll find it hard to get up there skiing very often.
 
haha ya.. im kinda worried about that too and im checkin out berkely while im out there as well.. im midwest so im worried about the snobby rich girls but as long as there hot its whatever lolThat bein said it is a real nice school and the achedemics cant be beat for wat im goin into soo.... ya but berkley is up there on the list too so i will have to see..and 4 hours for skiins pretty lame.. thats tough to make the trip while ill have 40 hours of homework a week but im sure ill make it work somehow
 
i hope you spell check your essays if you want to get into stanford...

it's cool you have the option to go to schools like berkley and stanford, good luck with the choice
 
ya. sorry i didnt realize i was trying to impress you guys on newschoolers with my spelling and grammer.. shoulda taken the time to proof read my responses before I post em just in case theyre gettin published.. haha
 
being a business major at psu, ive never had that much work haha. Either I have done very well with managing time or ive had easy profs..i manage to work 30 hours a week and take 5 classes a semester.
