I am going to buy some skis and i'm bad at making decisions.

I'm 6'3-4"ish, super skinny

20 y/o

(right now like 150 lbs, but working out so i should be around 170ish soon as thats where i normally am when i'm in shape)

I basically only ride park, mostly hit rails, in Ontario. I go out west at least once a year. (So i want something a lil fatter; hence the list)

I rode the JO pros for the last couple years, and love em, just a tad on the skinny side..

SO I've narrowed it down to this list:

- Moment Tahoe - http://www.momentskis.com/tahoe.php (i can get 40% off moments)

- Rossignol S3 - http://www.rossignol.com/US/US/s3-freeride_RA0SV01_product_ski-men-skis-freeski.html (can get a deal on rossi too)

- Surface Double Time http://www.surfaceskis.com/gear/park%20pipe/double%20time/index.html

- Amplid Rockwell http://www.amplid.com/ski/rck.php

Any help/advice is appreciated, and i'm open to suggestions. thanks.

Out of your list i would say either rossi or the tahoes. Also look into jmos although the 81's would be to short so never mind lol

K2 domains would be a cheaper alternative to all of the above if you want to save some money. They slay park and can hold their own in powder. (Don't know too much about their ability in powder tbh though)

well since you got out west like once a year, and you ski more park and rails, i'd suggest more of a park ski. i really like my reno jib. i center mounted mine with fks 120's and they ride really nice. i skied a couple of groomers on them and they were good. they held their edge, sometimes slipped but thats because i center mounted and detuned my edge underfoot. they are also super playful on rails/boxes. low swing weight. i'd recommended the reno jib since you can get %40 off moments

Yeah I was considering them too... I just wouldn't mind something a little fatter, but maybe I should just stick with park skis.

And as far as rockers go, i've never skied em, but sorta liked the idea of the S3 since it's a blend of the cambers... Will a full rocker like the K2 end up being a nuisance on groomers? I don't ski groomers but i still use em to get places..

thanks for the replies.

well the reno jib is 86 underfoot. so its no the fattest ski out their obviously. since ontario has ice hills then i'd suggest a park ski over something that it almost 100 underfoot.

where do you ski?

mt. st. louis almost exclusively.

Kids i ski with are all going towards pretty girthy skis now, so i was thinking why not have something i can play with in powder too..

After looking at the K2s i'm intrigued, although i've seen many-a K2 disintegrate pretty quickly in park.

And in the end i mean i'm coming from a ski thats 77 underfoot, which i've skied in pow a bunch of times. Anything will be wider.

ok, well i used to live in ontario and i skied blue mountain, glen eden, chicopea (sp?) and cobble hills. they were all icy. like i said, if you get discounts on moments and like a stiff ski, go with the reno jib

Salomon 2012's sound perfect. If you ski louis then you might know Jordan Lazareth, hes ridin them this year

moment reno rocker if money isnt an issue, its 92 under the waist i believe, and has rocker so itll be buttery and still handle powder, not to mention the early taper. also a good mid flexing ski, so you should be fine on jumps. one of the best all mountain park skis from what ive heard
