this is why I will never buy lines again--i had this exact same problem 1st with skogen sprang pros, then with motherships. Lucky for me my shop was kind enough to refund my $$ and give me some k2s. the steel edge splits at the tip and pulls out halfway down the skis, giving you two steel "stringy" things hanging out of the sides. both times it happened to me after about 10 days of skiing.
 
that's because this thread is from 2005, and the new invaders have all the problems with them fixed.
 
hahahaha I skiied on line skogens last year and the edge popped out, then they delaminated, then they snapped. I prob will buy from line again because they just switched their factories.
 
man, this thread is old, anybody who hates on line just because they had one year of shitty invaders is a retard. Go take a look at the 08 line up, some of the most progressive skis to date.
 
ive had mine for 2 seasons now, and they are holding up great. actually i think it might be 3 seasons. they are the first ones idk how old?
 
right...and then the delam issues with last years SFB. I mean, Line is a great company, but you have to admit they have had problems with 1st year model skis which is bullshit, because for how long they have been making skis you think they would know how to not have their skis delaminate by now. Now that they are owned by K2 their skis look sooo quality. I would love to buy a pair of 08s.
