I am done with ski poles

or if you have little kiddie poles like me put them next to a pair of kids skis so that the theif will feel bad about stealing from a kid

Poles break both of my thumbs and last year, i break 2 pairs in less then 2 months so i decided to start skiing no-poles. It doesn't rly change much, this year i bought K2 poles that just cant break *40$* and i enjoy skiing as much, it rly doesn't change anything on rails, may be a bit different on jumps but after few runs you ajust yourself and its just the same.

Respect skiers with and without poles, they are still all skiers.

Its personal, sometimes I like riding with poles sometimes I don't.Once in a while I hide my poles in this tree and pick them up after a few runs without poles.Yea riding switch without poles is funner, poles just get awkard...

i agree sushi but i still like the poles every now and then. helps alot in the lift lines to be honest...
and VERRRYYY fun all around otherwise though.

this is true i skied with out poles one day cuz i forgot mine and my shins were shot at the end of the day

AMENthis guy nailed it i stopped using poles during winter break this year while i was at crested butte and it feels so much more naturalthe only time i really feel the need to have them is when im in trees and even then i try to go with out thempersonally i find bumps to be a lot more fun without poles and its always fun to watch peoples faces as you blow by them without poles

Haha, yeah, that's the biggest short coming for sure. Especially true when the lift line is a little up hill. The best way to do it is to eject one of your skis and then push the other with your boot like a skateboard and then pop in again when you're at the end of the line. I learned this little maneuver in the CoC T-bar line last year.

lol homie just cut them reall reall short..like up to the thighs..tht wht i did...but i love not using my poles aswell...but i feel tht if i keep not using them tht it is a bad habit..is it??

I'm no hater, but I definitely enjoy my poles. If your going to rock no poles, you better be steezy or it looks shiesty as fuck.

it feels weird with out poles, i do a lot of little pushes with them on the inrun to rails, kind of a habit sort of thing, so it's strange without them

if i have poles / they arent broken / can afford them i use them. if not i dont let it get me down. Its fun to kick skiings ass without poles because i know it will just be easier if i pick a pair up

i dont think pep has been like only one way or the other, sometimes he uses them and sometimes he doesnt. but most the time i think he doesnt. pep is so much steezier without poles, he's so much more unique looking without poles.
