... with skiing. I love my girlfriend, but I might think about skiing just as much :) Sorry, this was just venting about wanting winter to be here for all those who can empathize! Yay, a few more months (well, at least three for me, so sad)
 
yeah i cannot wait to ski. i dont have a gf now so i can ski a lot without getting bitched at
 
its hard keeping the ladies of me...sometimes i just have to slap them so they let me do my own thang
 
i think my girlfriend realizes she'll never be equal to skiing. but shes cool wiht it-i almost feel bad. but then i hear my binding snap inot place and the lift is running and i stop caring
 
i know it's not exactly the same....but i have broken up with a girl because she bitched that i surfed to much. and i'm just getting into skiing a lot and i can defnitely say i see the same thing happening again. oh well bitchs come and bitchs go
 
The key argument here is "There's no way you can compare my love for you and my love for skiing. You are a girl, skiing is a sport. I can love BOTH baby!"

 
Thats pretty creative, but I just say, "Babe,its skiing, what kinda question is that?" then I usually just get a dirty look and she ignores me for like 3 hours
 
my gf knows i think about skiing about 10 times more than i think about her. shes def cool with it and wants to start skiing with me, so word
 
Maybe Ill find someone I like that will love skiing as much as I do. Oh well. My last girl I just forgot about and left her. Havent heard from her in a while
 
well, my ex was a complete shit. we went out for like 2 years and he dind't come skiing with me once. NOT ONCE. and was always in a pissy mood everytime I went skiing(which is almost every day) and when I watched ski movies if he was there. what an ass. my next bf definitely has to be as obsessed with skiing as I am, or close to it. I think about skiing every day, and I even wake up most mornings having dreamt of skiing. it is in simple words my passion of life.
 
i taught my fiance how to ski the day after he proposed to me. now he is way better than i am, which sucks big time! moral = don't even bother with people who don't share your (potentially unhealthy) obsessions!
 
These threads lately Triple strum are unlike you, like the one with what you rockin this year, what happend to all the inteligent threads you always are famous for
 
i have made a pact with myself to never EVER again date ANYONE who doesn't

ski...because my last few boyfriends haven't even come close to liking

skiing. my one bf actually said, "i know you love skiing, but dont you

think that you are wasting your time, money, and importantly, your life?"

i said, "well, how about those times you are out wasting your life in

the woods sitting around waiting for a deer or something to cross your

path, then getting drunk with your buddies. ever think of that"

needless to say, it was WAY over shortly after that.

definite moral....NEVER date anyone who doesn't ski, and definitely dont

date anyone without a passion for anything. because they will NEVER under

stand how you feel
 
haha. touche (for those of you who don't know, that is pronounced two-shey ;) I can still contribute intelligently to the NS community, but right now it is 80 and raining hard so it makes me sad. You also need to take into account that I only skied 4 days last season and ended with a destroyed ankle December 31st, so I have some serious skiing withdrawl. Basically, I haven't skied in two years :)
 
than you have had all the time to give ur love to her these last couple of years. So now its time she gives you more freedom for skiing. If she aint ok with it than she aint ur girl!!

NO SHAME THERE!!! Hey man, I'm engaged and I can justify that I love skiing more cuz it's been in my life longer AND IT'S NEVER PISSED AT ME. Way to be hardcore
 
just find a girl who thinks about skiing more than she thinks about you. then you wont have anything to argue over.

If i ever love someone as much as i love skiing, i will marry them in a day..and i dont like the idea of marriage quite yet.
