I'm just happy that the summer heat went away finally! I hated sweating in my sleep, its so fucking nasty. YAY for fall, for winter follows closely on its heels!

I walked around my house a few days ago in everything besides my skis eating fruit roll-ups... I decided that poofys in the summer aren't fun.

 
its not really that strnage because right know is the real first tase of winter we have had in th last long while...like new ski mags, ski shops re-opening, ect.

i went to find my ski stuff to start packing for school. i know for a fact it's not in storage at school cause i checked when i left. and it's not where i thought it was in my house. uh oh.

i know where my skis and boots are but not my jackets and stuff.

i better look harder.

around this time of year newschoolers is like a support group, most of my friends think i'm fucking crazy for wanting it to snow (holy fuck i wish it was winter) but here everyone understands

 
the only reason we have school in the fall to spring seasons was for the farmers way back when. Now that corporations have taken control of everything it is an unuseful practice for those with skiing aspirations. Just go to a ski school like Crested Butte Academy or Steamboat Boarding schools which let you ski in the morning to afternoons and then have 3 classes in the evening so it rotates around your schedule. Plus its block scheduling so you get more time and attention in each class.

yeha pretty much no one understands why i left santa cruz, ca to move to some random mountain town (aka, Missoula) at home. why would I, a surfer (who gets free gear and entries into contests) leave all of that for... snow?

but you kids get it. and it makes me happy.
