PLEASE don't trust the movies...some of their accents are so BAD. And the subtitles have no bearing on what they're saying. At one point in the Fellowship, in Lothlorien, Haldir says 'Welcome, Legolas son of Thranduil', and the subtitle reads 'welcome to Lothlorien'. HE DOESN'T EVEN SAY LOTHLORIEN! HOW COULD YOU MISS THAT! Legolas then replies and calls Haldir by name, but does Haldir's name show on the subtitles? NOPE. I'm not fluent enough to really follow the speech too well for the most part, but those are just glaring errors. I don't trust PJ's Elvish farther than i can throw it, and since it's an abstract concept, that isn't very far. By the way all Quenya verbs are suffixes or prefixes (mostly the latter).

of course u probly already know about this so im wasting my time

There are a lot of elvish dicionaries. Gotta get the right one. Mine were written by Gary Gygax and David Day so they're pretty goddamn accurate... the Day one cites every part of the Tolkkein text where the word is used so you can see the context and where he got the definition. I trust it because of that. Some of them aren't relally tolkein elvish, more D&D elvish i think.
