so sometime around February i fell double ejected and rolled a good 200 feet down a large and steep bowl. so i get up brush my self off and climb up to grab my skis one was sittng on top of the snow so i grab and look around for my other own. it was nowhere to be found. fuck. so i decided to wait for the chair to open in the summer because it was on the top and backside of the mountain so me and my dad go up and try hiking to where i feel first time we hiked to high over this cliff band and we had to hike back so there was a good half hour wasted so we eventully find are way back there and my ski was about 500 feet down from where i fell. this was bad because it was a big hill. but after a good 2 hour's hiking (and sliding) in snow we eventully make it to the chair and ride it down. yaaa

nice story i like when people use capital letters and punctuation because it makes everything much more clear i wish there was enough snow to actually lose my skis in it peace

thats a pretty happy story. must have been a sad day earlier to leave with only one ski... good to know not all hope is lost

Ive been in that very situation. Cept luckily I found my ski in a tree well as I was walking down the mountain, it went fuckin sooo far down there.

since we ski that same mountain I'll help ya out with the picture.

And yeah last season another kid lost his ski in the outback too, not sure if he found it, but on the other side. Luckliy I have never had to worry about this..

I remember the first trip I made to Canada was to Lake Louise. I believe I was skiing ER7, and quite a few metres of snow had fallen in the past couple of days. I fell and lost my ski, but didn't take to much of a tumble. Maybe about 4/5 metres down. I still had one of my skis, so I took it off thinking there is no f'n way I am gonna find the other. I spent about 10 minutes walkin' around by myself in this bowl and I sure enough i found. Skid down, rode the lift, and slayed it the following run.
