I almost just lost my life.

Until someone has a semi in their lane and misjudge their speed and lane change right in front of you going 20mph slower...and then you better hope you have damn good brakes and a good suspension.
 
You most likely wouldn't have died.You were traveling 70 mph, and a head on collision at that speed would be a collision of about 31.7 g and humans have a collision limit of 35 g. You would've probably lived.
 
cool story dude, if i posted about every time i came near death i would probably get annoyed by my own threads. welcome to the epic stage of life where you can drive a motor vehicle.
