I-70 Vail Pass Accident

I was driving eastbound right when it happened. it looked horrible with so many flipped cars. I took some pics with my camera phone:

one of my friends got stuck in the back of the pileup. luckily they didnt flip like most of the cars. anyways he was stuck in his car for about 9 hours today. all around crappy situation.
 
i almost went to vail today. but didnt, because no one at colorado school of mines will skip a fucking class to go skiing...

but sitting in a car for 9 hrs wouldnt have been worth it so not havin a car for once came in handy
 
70 car accident on I70. Man, thats crazy. It all started from another trucker..jack knifed. So they shut the hwy down from 1:31pm till 8:07pm for EB lanes..then i think it was almost 9pm when WB was reopened. SO....at about 2am this morning...BOOm another deadly accident at I70 and US40...CLOSED AGAIN>>......Now at Copper MTN there is an accident were it is backed up to the Frisco Scenic overlook...not closed though...just moving slowly.........I70 have been closed for more than 300 hours so far this year.....last year they were closed for a total of 204 hours.
 
now i wish i had gotten stuck in vail last night because I couldn't get up there this morning
