This question came to my mind while reading the "Father-Daughter Policital talk" thread but is in no way related to it and shouldn't be taken as me saying I believe one way or the other in relation to the issue in that thread. I just want to see what people say.  Here it is:

All of us on here love skiing. Suffice to say we are some of the most skiing obsessed people around. I certainly know I am.

So... if you had the chance to bring one child, that you would never meet, out of poverty and into the comfortable part of the middle class, but you had to give up skiing for the rest of your life, would you do it? 
 
just like the kid already said, this is the site that houses the worlds most obsessed skiers. I would say no. Not only does skiing rule but its a way to get out of the city and come into touch with mother nature.
 
only one? no way in hell. but if it were for a handful i might consider it. one is def not worth it, even 2 isnt.
