Hylands rope

Just got back and it was not up yet. It looked like they were pushing snow around under it in order to get it set up but it doesn't look like it will happen today.
 
Yea I take it you were the guy with S5s then since I only saw one other skier go through the "park" while I was there.

Well it was the same stuff today but they were pushing a bunch of snow around above the current stuff. This is the first year I have skied at Hyland and their trail map does not match to what is actually there for runs so I have no idea is that is where the park ends up or not.
 
If you are thinking theres going to be a halfpipe they got rid of it a long time ago

AS FOR THE ROPE IT WILL BE UP ON FRIDAY
 
actually i just remembered this..

a girl on my race team has 2 identical snowboars and i have a leftover set of bindings so were gonna mount em up to make pow skis that will make pollard jealous
 
oh im aware but did he ever ski on them waterskis in the midwest or on rails.....i think not!

shanes sick though, who else wouldve thought of waterskis.....or spatulas for that matter
 
This is 100% true! it says on their site :

Open for the Season - 12/3/08

"We have several rails and boxes set up and will add more this week. The terrain park rope tow will be up and running Friday night!"
 
aight so i think everyone in the cites should go to hyland tomorrow to break in the new setup

also on the rope they replaced the motors....hopefully it wont break as often
 
i was there yesterday and saw the rope in the pulleys up top, and it looks like a brand new rope so i suggest protectors unless you like shredded mittens

Same motors new configuration of wheels it loops around more of them to help prevent slipping.
 
uhhhh my name is max ronning. i actually snowboard, so i wouldnt expect you to know me, but i just come on here because there is no good place to find out about comps and stuff other than here
