HVX 200 Shooters, Peep this

I'm selling my firestore, a 100gb DVCPRO HD drive that allows you to shoot over 200 minutes of pristine quality 720p/24PN footage.

I shot a little under 100 hours on the unit. It has been babied, always carried in a padded/protected environnement, used in a smoke free workplace, etc. Aside from a few very minor scuffs on the screen, the unit is in perfect cosmetic and working conditions. The batteries hold their charge like new. My experience with this unit is textbook, it has worked perfectly without any glitches of any kind. Feel free to email me with specific questions.

The package Includes:

Pictured: - FS-100

Ah I'd fuckin kill for one of those! Money's a bit of an issue though. I'm owed $2400 and don't know when I'm gonna get it.

Not quite, no, it's an external hard drive that's shock proof and the cheapest cost per gig of space ratio for shooting DVCPRO HD.

word, plus the hvx doesnt shoot true 1080p.

Wait for the new Sony XDCAM EX. it shoots true 1080P XDCAM-HD with all the frame rates of the HVX. It's switchable between 1080/60i and 720/60P, and capable of recording at 1080/50i/30P/25P/24P and 720/50P. Not to mention it shoots on to Express cards that you can nicely squeeze right into your Mac Book Pro. And the express cards are a fraction of the price of the p2 cards, and you get twice as much memory for about 50 percent of the price.

The camera is pretty pricy though.

it uses the 2:3 or 2:3:3:2 pulldown.

The recorder pretty darn good deal, and I need to upgrade from my 4gb P2 cards, but I'm kinda poor at the moment... I'll keep thinking about it.

The component outputs will put out 1080i but with a 2:3 or 2:3:3:2 pulldown, just like the DVX100, the reason being that there is no 23.976 1080p format DVCproHD.

I am a little skeptical about that thing. hopefully this is the first crazy sick Sony cam!

Panasonic always has amazing colors; I am yet to see better ones from a different brand.

So am I... I was sold to Sony before (shitty TRV and later the VX2K, Pd-150). Panasonic hurt them so bad when they came out with the DVX, I was so stoked on the cam, then came the HVX!

It seems like sony is repeating their mistake of putting a servo controlled zoom ring again..
